Remember Steve Benen's bikini graph of job losses? As you can see from the updated version posted by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, we're going to need a new way to describe it.
After the December numbers, we decided it was a martini with an olive. Now? With consecutive gains? Suggestions, please, in the comments.

Is that a job increase in your pocket, or are you just glad to see me?
Up periscope!
Umm....I can't think of anything that wouldn't make Rachel blush. Sorry...
I think making her blush would be the point! :-)
I think "bikini" is her threshold.
America's hopey changey works!
blogsforvictory (formerly blogsforbush) kept deleting my posting of the bloomberg article describing this graph. instead they preferred the employment-going-to-hell-in-a-marxist-handbasket description. go figure...
how 'bout the "teaparty's worst nightmare" graph?
What does the tea party have to do with this? By that matter, what does Busch or Obama have to do with this? You see, the government does not create jobs as your rhetoric states. The economy will eventually heal itself if left totally alone. The real question is; how much do we help it? Both presidents have run up the national debt and Obama is the worst offender. The trillions in debt are not worth the little effect it has had and now we will have to pay for it. If we had put those trillions in the tax payers hands the effect would have been much greater, but I am not for that either. What we need is to phase out big government, extinguish all entitlements and support industry through policy which will stimulate job hiring. Entitlements are for socialist countries. Let the American people pay for their own retirement and health care. If they are incapable of doing so, then they will have a rough golden years. But so be it. It is time people take responsibility for them selves and stop wanting freebies from the Gov't and expect the rest of us to pay for it. Once this is done, we can make policy to correct the failure of macroeconomics in the health industry.
"what does Busch or Obama have to do with this?" If you meant the beer company Busch, they did not have anything to do with it whereas Bush and Obama have everything to do with it. Bush and the neo-cons got us in big trouble by involving us in a war that is based on misinformation and lies. Do you know how much that war is still costing the American tax payers? A record surplus went to a record deficit in the Bush years. The government was outsourcing DOD contracts in Iraq and counter intelligence projects and paying big bucks for work that was never done. To add to the stellar record, the deregulation of Wall Street and the banking industry under the neo-cons went conveniently unnoticed. Now that you have $arah cach$$g Palin and the tea party elite bashing our president and cashing millions of $$$ in the Obama bashing industry; it is onerous not to mention the context where Obama started his presidency with a huge burden that only world class leaders like him can handle. Without Obama's stimulus plan and the federal $$$ that was poured in different projects around the country you would not have seen any job growth.
In a few years people will see how the health Reform is not as nefarious as the tea baggers like to depict it. I am not sure you will ever change your mind. May be you could use a small dose of crisis in your life to realize that some people need assistance because of no fault of their own. Not everybody is born with a golden spoon in their mouth, nor everybody is immune from sickness or unfortunate events.
When the founding fathers devised the constitution and the bill of rights they had a deist vision of the world that is based on Islamo-Judeo-Christian values. Not taking care of the weakest elements of our society is not only inhumane and arrogant it is a betrayal of our heritage and is most ungrateful.
Bush was the president. Busch is the beer. One makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. The other makes me hurl my remote at the TV. Betcha can't guess which is which.

yeppers, hip-bow-bikini is what i was thinking as well. we win! ;o)
@just think,
just read U.S. Constitution Article 1 Section 8.
The fantasy of allow it to correct itself, hands off is just ideology.
If we extinguish entitlements we have those unable to help themselves, resorting to "help themselves" to our personal property, which drives up police, courts, prison costs.
I do not think of Social Security as entitlement, it is insurance. consider private insurance pools your premium with others', then pay for other people.
I paid 40 years, so your suggestion to take mine away leaves me reeling, wondering how will they "buy out" what I have paid.
just too bad is the response, blank stare. Good luck with your ideals, they are fantasy.
