"refridgerate"? Really? I know it's late and everything but jeez. Hey, if you guys need a proof reader I'm available. ;-)
Yeah, that's my error. Thanks for pointing it out.
It's a pretty easy mistake, given the high use of 'fridge.'
I thought you just had too many tar balls!
Amazing show tonight, Rachel and staff. Seriously great work. One of your best yet.
Thank you so much.
so...
i teach biology and ecology to 9th graders in PA. i watched the show at 1:30 am friday morning...when i couldn't sleep. needless to say after that, i didn't sleep!
i want to know how i can get copies of these on going shows to show my students in future years?
they are living history and a very unfortunate event that will impact their lives for years to come. THEY will be our voters, politicians, engineers of the future. THEY need to see where our efforts and money need to be spent.
it sickens me that we have learned nothing from our ecological mistakes of the past. if we treated our bodies with the same lack of respect and concern as we do our earth, we would all be dead before 50.
there's too much government with slanted agendas. there are too many agencies that trip over the issues.
it all sucks!!!
You can get future shows as podcasts on itunes. That's how I watch the show. You can save them to disc and play them from your pc. As far as older shows, I don't have an answer for that.
i have never done this before....!
suggestions?????
I don't know.......one look at the ingredients and all I can think of is if the fumes from the oil and dispersant don't make you vomit, a few of these jello shots will.
Lol, I know. I've learned more about hard booze from watching Rachel than I ever knew before, but most of it just makes me want to stick with my beer geekery.
BTW somebody needs to educate Rachel on jello shot technique..she had some left behind after slurping it down :) She just needs more practice! A stir stick helps to loosen it around the little cup.
You can download last night's show from here (mp4 or wmv format; mp4 is better quality but wmv is a smaller file)

Each show goes up a few hours after it's aired and stays online til the next one goes up. So last night's show will be available til Monday--get it while you can. After that, as someone says, you can apprently get it from itunes, but I don't know anything about that.
The mp4 downloads are about 200MB and the wmv's are about 100MB.

A pudding shot would've made a really sweet (no pun) 'tar ball.'
Grape jello is not available in my country of residence so instead of water and grape jello I used grape drink and unflavored gelatin. Worked great - I figure it's the same basic ingredients, water, sugar, artificial grape flavor, and gelatin, just arranged differently. And like Mom used to say when you complained about the mashed potato gravy touching the peas on your plate, it all ends up in the same place anyway!
I'm so doing this for my moving-in-to-the-new-apartment party I'm having on Saturday.
Jagermeister and I had a bad meeting one time in college. I haven't quite gotten over it so I'll have to substitute something else.
Dunno if I like Jager. I've had one too many bad experiences with the stuff. :p
