Can't wait to watch.
Will the documentary be available on iTunes like a regular show?
I think so. I think the only thing that would stop us is if there are web restrictions on any of the video used in the documentary. I'll look into it.
Thanks, Will! The documentary sounds amazing and I'd hate to miss it because I don't have a TV.
et.al.: I am looking forward to this presentation. I have been security for health care providers throughout my life. I have looked into the eyes of these people and I cannot understand.
Thanx Rachel for all you do. nem
I am certainly looking forward to this but I can expect it will be a difficult thing to watch. Dr. Tiller was a hero and this documentary is very important.
The murder of our friend Dr. George Tiller is a historical event. Like 9/11 I can remember the overwhelming feelings of anger, disbelief, fear, and grief I felt as I sat clutching the phone on that hot day in May. I have those same feelings everyday as I walk into work and see his picture, as we do not want his life or this tragedy to be forgotten. Thank you Rachel for giving people a chance to remember and for reminding those who don't.
Thanks Reachel! I'm a volunteer for Planned Parenthood of Gulf Coast, and this Saturday we had nearly 800 protesters at the Houston clinic. This people need to realize how intimidating they are to clients, staff, and volunteers. I always think of Doctor Tiller when my husband and I put on our volunteer vests, and head to the clinic's gate to comfort clients and families, and I think, what if something horrible happens today? Then Irealize that it will be horrible if a client can not get in the clinic because of anti-choice protesters. The brave Doctor Tiller keeps me calm, and optimistic.
Thx for keeping the memory of the heroic Dr. Tiller alive.
Speaking of "alive", let's keep our compassion alive for the children who are born unwanted, given up for adoption and have such deep feeling of sadness about being "given up".
How about compassion for the unwanted instead of for the unborn?
