Newly elected Rep. Allen West (R-Florida) is going to have to find himself a new chief of staff, the Hill reports. Rep. West announced today that his first pick, talk show host Joyce Kaufman, won't be joining his team. The New York Times says she withdrew.
Kaufman made a name for herself with anti-immigrant and Second Amendment-y screeds like this:
If ballots don't work, bullets will. I've never in my life thought the day would come that I would tell individual citizens that you are responsible for being the militia the Founding Fathers designed. They were very specific: you need to be prepared to fight tyranny.
Today on her show she blamed the press -- you know, us -- for her decision to drop out, saying, "You guys can do all the things you want to me, but I will not participate in you trying to destroy [West]."

I agree; she has a right not to like stuff, but she has no right to hate in public that is degrading, racist, and demeaning to other people; her rights cannot cross onto my rights to make her point. She probably has the right to go in the street and say all of that stuff, but the radio and TV licenses come with the caveat that they must uphold the public trust....I would hope that someone would go to the FCC and challenge the license if she spews that stuff on the air. Only hate speech should be censored. This lady was just doing this for the ratings. She could theoretically be liable for inciting to riot, which I believe should be used to prosecute Chalkdust torture Beck.

With her appeal to the 2nd Amendment, she intends a *violent* overthrow of the government and exhorts others to do likewise. *That* ought to scare the dead.
Have you listen to West? I'd keep him away from the POTUS. In his circle of friends an overthrow would be welcomed and may even be tried. People like West and his pet worry me...now he walks the halls of power and all he needs is a few to follow his call.

I always find it odd that right wing kooks get VERY ANGRY! when people notice the crazy things they say, and then quote them on the news. Maddow didn't even do a bunch of commentary on the quote, just sort of threw it down as a, "Hey, look what this lady said." Anyone with at least one ear and a brain heard how crazy it was. But now this lady is acting like she's some kind of martyr who's been attacked by the "leftist, socialist!, marxist!!, FASCIST lamestream media!!!" Yeah, blame the media for making public the crazy things that you said. What, did they hold a gun to your head and force you to say those ridiculous things?

Our government just doesn't count military votes, does recounts til the dem wins in certain states, and uses dead pople and illegals for votes. At least some had courage to stand up in Iran. And by the way people kill people, not guns. Also no way will Obama even come close to surpassing Bill Clinton. 2nd term, no way. His wife hates being first lady, and they enjoy vacations too much. 2 years left til the permanent one, regardless of if a dem or repub wins.
I find it hilarious that you mention Obama and vacations, when George W. Bush holds the record for vacation days away from the White House, breaking what I thought was Reagan's unbreakable record.
Our government counts military votes, so I don't know where you got that one from. In fact, in the 2000 election in FL, they not only counted military votes, they counted ones that should have been invalidated because they arrived after the deadline or didn't have a required witness signature. In that case, they kept on recounting until the repub won, and then took it to the Supreme Court to prevent a full recounting, and one man, appointed by the candidate's father, cast the deciding vote to put that guy in the White House. If that isn't corrupt, I don't know what is. Your other allegations of voter fraud by illegals and the dead are similarly without merit or evidence. If you were truly worried about elections, you may wonder why Bush got more votes in some Ohio districts in 2004 than there were registered voters.

Remember all that the person making the claim must provide evidence. If he/she does not provide evidence of the claim and it is not a personal philosophy argument (I.E. I think abortion is wrong because of my beliefs) then that argument can automatically be dismissed as false.
