YES!
I'd rather have her as the Chairman of the Federal Reserve, but this would be great!
Agree with you, Zelvis... this is good news but it would be EVEN better with Warren at the helm of the Federal Reserve!
Yeah! Elizabeth, defeat former model Scott Brown, we know you will work for ALL the people.
I wish she was from Illinois - we need all the help we can get!
Maybe we can clone 49 more of her for the rest of the states?!
How about 99 more of her?
Finally, a politician, beside Bernie Sanders, for the people!
I agree with zelvis, but as a Senator would be wonderful too!
WONDERFUL!! - BOOT Scott Brown, Just another "Koch Brother's Stooge"!!!
Oh like this is a surprise. But YAY for this. Seriously, love her.
I think you should run dear heart. We need your passion and clarity in the Senate to actually get things done.
I prefer Rachel as a muckraker. ;)
She's got my vote!!!!! wonderful Rachel!
Great, she can help strengthen the Democratic majority within the senate.
Not to mention, strengthen their collective backbone a bit..
Yes, please, Elizabeth. We need someone as sensible, smart and personable as you in the Senate. The way you were treated during your confirmation hearings was shameful.
yes!!!!!! she's got my vote!!! awesome Rachel!
This is not exactly new news, but it'd be great.
Best news yet, though!!
This is not exactly new news, but she would be great in the Senate.
senate? I'd vote her into nearly any office if given the opportunity.
can we clone her for virginia please?
Amen!
Awesome! Wish I lived in Massachusetts--she'd definitely have my vote.
Awesome! But what does this do to Rachel's plans for running? ;-)
Damn, I do love that women -- one of the sanest voices in the country today...can we get her like in Texas -- PLEASE!
With the exception of Ann Richards, who are or have been the sane voices in Texas? I'm not sure even the likes of the awesome Ms. Warren could undo the strangle hold right-wing christian(NOT!) nut jobs have on our state.
Sorry progressives in Texas, I wish Perry had taken that place out of the union.
She is from Oklahoma, but had the good sense to leave. They probably would'nt vote for her, the only US elected democrates are in name only, Oklahoma's loss.
No. They wouldn't. All we produce are 5th columnist for the Democratic party. [ptui!] And oil dollar whores.
Why settle for the Senate? She should run for President.
Not in 2012... but look out 2016!
Quality candidate!
Florida is a nice state, and there's never any snow. She'd have my vote in a heartbeat.
Senate now, and President in 2016.
That's an interesting thought. The Dems really do need to start prepping someone for 2016 anyways. Win or lose next year, we still need someone for 2016. I guess if Obama loses he can run again in 2016.
I still think Hillary will get the nod for 2016 though. She would only be 68 in 2016. That's the new 48 right?
Here is another thought. I wouldn't mind losing the Presidency if we regained the House and held the Senate. Then we can play OBSTRUCTIONISTS for awhile. We play too nice sometimes.
I was seriously disappointed that she was blocked by the Republicans to head the Consumer Protection Bureau. Apparently she scares them too much, because she knows too much. However, I thought it was a stroke of genius that Obama chose Richard Cordray, highly capable and tough financial cop, as second choice with the idea of Elizabeth Warren challenging Scott Brown (R) MA, who is holding Ted Kennedy's old seat in Congress. I think she has a very good chance of being elected in MA. And now the Republicans not only won't have her to kick around but someone with real clout to challenge them where they live.
PS Richard Cordray has the distinction of being an undefeated five-time champion and Tournament of Champions semifinalist on Jeopardy
