Former Dane County executive Kathleen Falk says she wants to run against Governor Scott Walker in the recall. Ms. Falk has the key part down:
"As your governor, I will make different choices than Scott Walker."
Her video was posted yesterday, the day organizers turned in their recall petitions. Ms. Falk is the second announced candidate, after State Senator Tim Cullen. FWIW, she's already got her own Politifact entry, about her claim to have cut the costs of public employees unions.

Dear Wisconsinites,
While I wish you all the best with this recall, please make sure this time to "vet" your candidates more carefully this time!!
Dear Wisconsinites,
Please don't let the socialist thugs of the DNC turn your state into another failed socialist state like California!
Remember a vote for a progressive democrat is a vote to end the Republic and abolish the Constitution.....DON'T DO IT!
thanks for the morning laugh!!

YES!! Even the liberal states are realizing what kind of abuses public employee unions are doing.
That's right Wisconsinites! Don't let the socialist thugs of the DNC ?(Arnold Schwarzenegger, Republican) turn your state into another failed socialist state like CA.
Remember not only is a vote for Republicans/corporations and their supporters like DugFmJamul a vote to end the Republic and to abolish the constitution but it's also a vote for idiots who don't even realize which party ran which states (or the country for that matter) into the ground.
This is for Contessa61 and the others who just can't get past their own partisanship. The problem with the unions is the exact same problem with the corporations as well as with religious institutions. What is it? INSTITUTIONAL PERSONHOOD. We are all citizens and as such we all have to follow the same laws and are all equal under the law. This is the basis for our government. We revolted against the English Crown to get equality and justice. But this idea of giving certain groups of citizens like corporations, unions and religious entities, who are nothing but groups of citizens JUST LIKE US, additional rights and privileges as well as legal exemptions that the rest of us don't have is a slap in the face to us, our forefathers and the constitution.
Institutional personhood is the problem here. Stop listening to the propagandists and think for yourselves. We are all against the same problem it's just that some of us want to curtail others liberties while protecting our own.
Swartznegger's first name is Adolph, which is why California real estate exploded worse than World War II German Deutsche Marks after he outlawed Mexicans.
And I will have you know that Adolph Swartznegger does not have a German accent. It is a birth defect.
Perhaps the rest of the US will realize the mistake California made and not vote GOP?
Please?
“We The People” are to be honest, virtuous, and to be responsible for one’s actions. We must be enlighten enough to elected citizens to public office that will not only represent our republican values but respect them as well. Patriotic citizens will support and defend the Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic especially stop progressives from introducing more socialism into our government and society.
Asked yourselves one question, "Can the Union survive if all 50 States were administered like California?"
LOL thanks for the laughs today.
OT but good news
BREAKING: OBAMA TO REJECT KEYSTONE XL
from think progress
that is good news, thanks
Good news, until you read the last line. They are going to be allowed to reapply with an alternate route.
The original proposed route is only part of the problem with this whole scheme. Other than jobs (and probably NOT 20,000 of those), there is no benefit to the US. The oil will not stay here.
Most of the jobs will be temporary construction jobs of course.Short term gain for long term pain.
They are going to be allowed to reapply with an alternate route.
which is true but it will take some time to complete the study's needed. which is still a good thing as the longer we can put it off the better changes we have in stopping it.
good news???
loss of jobs, less domestic sources of gas, snubbing Canada who will now sell to China.
Obama = worst prez EVER.
Contessa: Even the conservative publications have admitted the jobs created will only be around 1500 max and most temporary. Additionally all of the oil and gas from the pipeline is not for domestic consumption. The oil companies are shipping it to China. So we will be taking a massive risk to our environment, water sources both drinking and surface as well as land, that the oil companies will not be responsible for and they, the oil companies will take all the profits, paying zero taxes, as they do now.
So where's the benefit? Obama = MUCH better president than Nixon, Reagan, Bush senior and Junior and that's just in my lifetime. Sorry facts trump propaganda.
I hope the Dems can settle on candidates right away so they can get the campaign underway. In the meantime, Dems should be pushing voter registration with ads and volunteers to help people get the ID's needed to register to vote. The Dems need to beat the Republicans at their own game by registering thousands of new voters rendering the new voting ID law meaningless in this election. That is Walker's and the Republicans nightmare.
"Dems should be pushing voter registration with ads and volunteers to help people get the ID's needed to register to vote."...Democrats are not use to doing things for themselves and without a government worker to help them find their way to the DMV, most democrats will never be able to get a photo id.
Dems wont be able to get a photo ID? I'm not so sure the voters the Republicans are trying to disenfranchise will be Dems. Think about it. These people will be: 1. elderly people who can no longer drive and no longer have drivers licenses. They used to be Dems but now I think they are more likely to be Republicans. 2. College students without cars. Again traditionally Dems but recently (over the last ten years) many college students have been young republicans and this year many are libertarian. 3. people who have recently moved. Again traditionally transient people are Dems but because of the economy this number is much more likely to be even at least or even lean Republican who tend to represent blue collar or lower education workers.
As usual the Republicans ain't too bright and neither are the news media. I think they may have hung themselves again. It makes me laugh just thinking about it.
The reason Wisconsin chose incorrectly last time involves a knowledge vacuum.
You can only lie to people when they don't know any better.
That becomes impossible when people know better.
The real question is -> how many wrong choices will Wisconsin make until they make the right one?
California got rid of Adolph Swartzeneger.
Lets see Wisconsin do the same.
