if any women wants to know or remember how bad it was for women before abortion was legal, watch the movie,"DIRTY DANCING." the late Patrick Swayze's dance partner "Penny" GOT KNOCKED UP BY ROBBY THE CREEP! she went to a TRAVELING M.D. to get an abortion and couldn't go to the hospital because they would've been REQUIRED TO CALL THE POLICE. she was lucky, she recovered and LIVED. that is how it was for women before we had these RIGHTS THAT THESE RADICAL GOVERNORS WANT TO TAKE AWAY. women were SHAMED if they found themselves pregnant. WHY? WHY WEREN'T MEN SHAMED ALSO? A WOMEN CAN'T GET THAT WAY ON HER OWN? IT TAKES TWO! I'd love to hear from some women that had a trisk with these GOV'S in their past or youth and see how self rightious they act then. I'm sure, at the least in their youth they were sexually active. a question we do need to ask them is, do they REALLY WANT WOMEN DYING GETTING A BACK ALLEY ABORTION? OR DO THEY WANT TO KEEP WOMEN BAREFOOT AND PREGNANT? IT SEEMS SO, MOST OF ALL WITH GOV. MCDONNELL. MAYBE MEN WHO MAKE THESE DECISIONS FOR WOMEN CAN BE STERILIZED, IF THE GOV.SIGNS THESE BILLS? FAIR IS FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'D ALSO LIKE TO KNOW HOW MANY OF THESE RADICAL GOV'S WIVES HAS TAKEN OR ARE TAKING BIRTH CONTROL? MAKES YOU THINK.

Every generation has to fight these battles, it's not that much different today than it was 50 years ago, the so called christians and their political allies have just a used a different reason for the religious war they declare. Fifty years ago it was blacks that the were under attack by zealots, today its women. Religion and conservative politicians NEED to run society as a daddy state, they NEED to treat all women as whores and idiots, even the women who are their allies. The state sanctioned rape laws that are being introduced in state legislatures all over the US are just another tool of the so called zealots to punish the lower orders. Until we lower order members understand that God granted the evangelicals, catholic bishops and radical right wing politicians the absolute right to control the rest of us, there is going to be conflict. We just need to understand that we have no rights, we merely have privileges that they grant us from time to time. History is now, has always been, and always will be a struggle between the zealots of the time seeking to control the masses, and the masses seeking a life with a bit of dignity.

More children enter the foster care system, seeking adoption, each and every day.

What do you think? Maybe we should be making it easier for people to adopt, rather than making it more difficult. Maybe instead of telling gay couples they can't adopt, we should send them thank you cards with their new babies for bothering to care. Do we really need to discuss the psychological and socialization issues children face when they grow up in the foster care system, because they weren't adopted?

I wonder if these Republicans or Religious Pharisees even think on what they are saying. They talk about President Obama’s faith in a way which is utter nonsense. We know President Obama is a Christian, but his connection to his father and Grandfather being Islamic is really a plus. What better way to bridge a gap across religions with these trying times in the Middle East. What do these Republicans and Religious Pharisees want to do keep up a hatred of people of different faiths that would lead to nothing but trouble. If these Republicans and Religious Pharisees want to call themselves Christians, they had better think again, because they are causing nothing but hatred and violence.

People in the media often refer to the idea that "women are the one's against restrictions on contraceptives." I just want to remind them that unless men want to have a baby every time they have sex with their wife, then men are also in favor of contraception.

There is a lot of talk about Luntz on the Republican side, but nobody ever talks about the Democratic side. I can almost guarantee that they have a Luntz equivalent, but nobody ever talks about what advice he gives. The framing of the argument is important, so I cannot imagine that a Democratic Luntz does not exist. Who is he and what are his arguments? If you are going to out the Republican version, why not out the Democratic version? Even though it is all pretty ridiculous and assumes that most people just don't pay that close of attention and aren't smart enough to figure out what is really going on behind all those pretty words.
