For decades the great Cindy Sherman has photographed herself in a dizzying variety of costumes, moods and sensibilities.
Snooty society matron? Check. Naïve ingénue? Check. Nightmare-inducing circus clown? Check again and again and again.
Sherman's amazing new retrospective at the Museum of Modern Art in New York runs from this Sunday until June 11.
In all her photos the question that bleeds through is, who am I? What makes Sherman's work so essential is that it also demands the more troubling question, who are we?

Wow. I bet they will even try to charge the who's who go to see her who's which brings us to who's who is taking who.
Night owl shows midnight to six.
DOH! You got me. Now the right will think I am a supporter of Suess(rhymes with Zeus ergo it is anti-christian) and whoville(Hooverville?). Now I must run for my life from knuckle dragging braindead .....
I used to live in New York city and went to see a Cindy Sherman exhibition. Her pics, to me, are satire-ish throwing characters of society back into our faces. When you ask, who are we, we are Rachel Maddow, Kim Kardashian, we are Gingrich, we are Obama, we are our religious institutions, political affiliations, our TV show characters, we are what the media perpetuates. I saw a T-shirt a while back that said we spend our lives trying to be like others.
It's funny, I was thinking of a quote this morning that says something like "
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment."
Author: Ralph Waldo Emerson
i am trying so hard to be me i must have a mirror to substantiate that fact.
Ok I know this isn't the place for this, but I tried contacting through the contact and suggest a story form but it kept saying my email was invalid. So I thought this is worth a shot.... Alabama women could sincerely use your help.

Let's call him Senator Vaginal Probe. We need to start exposing these people maybe we can start getting in contact with CNN they seem to generate a more bi-partisan audience.
We are someone who's never heard of Cindy Sherman until today.....NEXT
And still don't give a damn who she is...
Is this some New Yorker inside joke?
I think if this is all you have to do with your life, why do people want money?
