The best thing about the cablecast was NOT the information.
The best thing was how excellently Rachel was into it.
As a straight male I am utterly (Not udderly -- RAM not) INTOXICATED by the movements of her handparts when excited. #YupILuvRachel

I want to thank you Rachel, for covering all the birth control and womens health care that you (as well as Ed and Lawrence) thoroughly cover. On behalf of people that I work with as a Social Worker, I believe you are an ace in the hole for women. You are brilliant, articulate and so clearly state what we need to have said.
Personally, I love how you repeatedly showed the advertisers that Mr. Limbauch lost due to being his simple...simple...mindless self.
You, Lawrence and Ed are quite the team. MSNBC is lucky to have you...as are women! I thank you.

"Evangelical Catholic" - Sounds similar to the variety of Catholicism that Mel Gibson practices - According to Wikipedia, he's a "Traditionalist Catholic", and Santorum's beliefs seem to be 'in the same general neighborhood'!
In some ways, Rick seems more headed in the direction of the Inquisition, which., according to Monty Python, seemed like a 'Really Fun Time' in Religious History - And you thought the Taliban and Islamic Fundamentalism were scary?
btw, Even "Evangelical Catholic" has an entry in Wikipedia!
Actually, Rick Santorum's Catholicism goes much further than "traditional," which sticks to things such as Latin Mass, meatless Fridays, etc. Santorum preaches an extreme version of his religion, Opus Dei, which is to Catholicism what the Taliban is to Islam.
Here's what's more important than not googling "santorum:" not googling "gabriel santorum." Please do NOT do this--you will be sorry, people!!!!
If St. Torum wants to drag the church into politics, which by the way is a paying gig, his church's tax-free status should be changed. The influx of new tax money will help the budget.
As a longtime Rachel fan...I think that it is way PAST time to drop the Santorum Google Bit...glorifying one of the nastiest political tricks in recent history does NOTHING for our causes and degrades the show. It is disgusting.
Once,,,okay.. Twice, you're pushing it.. Three TIMES and it is just disgusting and is no better than Limbaugh
Rachel...let it go, it is demeaning to YOU.
Rachel
I LOVE your show and usually agree wholeheartedly. But I think you were way off base last night (3/7/12) about why rich people are supporting Mitt Romney in greater numbers. There may be some that are supportng him bc they will pay less under his tax plan (which sucks, admittedly). But I think it is because he is (or they hope he is) moderate.
I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia. The R's out number the D's in voter registrations, but this area has gone for the last 6-7 Democratic presidential candidates and until 2010- State and Federal Reps & Senators that are D's. I am a D, but have many R friends. Honestly, we agree more than we disagree. But they are (or want to be) loyal R's bc that is their "team".
They are socially liberal, and fiscally conservative (so they say). Most of them voted for Obama. Mitt appeals to these people bc he is the closest candidate to the Republican Party that they remember. They are desparate to re-establish the pragmatic, non-evangelical party of their parents. Many don't see that the Republican party has fundamentally changed - to more religious, less tolerant, less educated, more angry. They hope it is just a phase, that it will go away.
I think you do all of us harm to make this only about taxes. That is the FOX News strategy - to make it all about one issue.
