Thank you Miss. Maddow for taking the time to address my concerns and do the story I suggested more then a few weeks ago. You see pathological liars are mentally dangerous people. Not only to themselves but outwardly and to others. You see they are willing to do anything to cover up when caught, the previous lies committed. As a politician you find a niche. A haven for your web of pathological distinctions and are comforted by it. Because one feels at home as though it is not wrong but instead OK. Right. ; ] But it is far from it is it not? Furthering this line of thought this thread of truths as it were you have politicians willingly ignoring facts and skewing the facts to fit what it is they wish to perceive or have YOU perceive. And NO ONE calls them on it. Lying is the same. Outright lies are meant to be and are purposeful in politics or one who does it is not competent tp do the job if they truly do not know they are doing it.;]
Willful ignorance of the law is NO excuse is it. Rarely do anchors or any news folk ever call politicians on there lies. They simply ALLOW them to pass them off unchallenged and as fact/ Like fact check as it were. ; ] But not you Miss. Maddow. No longer. I ask that you continue to challenge lies at all times. Especially for those who CALL themselves "Christians".. A sad state of affairs that is is it not? ; ]
Again THAN YOU soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much. I have been waiting for someone to stand up for truth and honesty and I am so glad it is you. ; ]
Cheers luv.
Hello Rachel: Thank you for bringing to light the manifold lies of Mitt Romney for although I'm an avid democrat, this is an issue all Americans should seriously weigh. From our perspective, the fascination is not with all Romney’s lies; it's the voter's capitulation to this deceitful campaign. We thought the voters would have rejected Romney by now, for it's not just the lies he tells on others, he is a liar when it comes to who he is. For a liar to win the Republican nomination puts something and someone frighteningly close to the White house.
Shockingly, biblical prophecy from Daniel Chapter 8 alludes to a liar coming to power and going to war with Iran. For those who believe biblical prophecy, Romney's lies and the voter's acquiescence to such a person is disturbing but even for atheists and agnostics, President Romney sounds like an end of something if not the world.
I thought an interesting comment (and I agree with you and the show about Romney's lies) was Rev. Gaddy pretty much saying "hey, at least with Santorum you know what you're getting."
Which is true - He Who Must Not Be Googled would be horrible for this country, but if you were to vote for him at least you know what you're voting for. There is no doubt in my mind that if the Tea Party never rose to any sort of power and there wasn't this ugly rhetoric from the right, Romney would be running from a much more moderate position.
Thank you for having Reverend C. Welton Gaddy on in response to the Louisiana pastor. It was especially nice pairing the Louisiana crazy pastor (who should lose his tax exempt status and Santorum should have pointed that out) with the intelligent, well spoken Reverend Gaddy.
I appreciated the dichotomy.

While I also appreciate the balance, it should be noted that the 'balance' only works when the countering side is countering with facts, evidence, sound science, etc. Otherwise what happens is a he-said-she-said fight such as what happens when people like Tony Perkins or formerly Pat Robertson is allowed to express opinion instead of fact.
(of course fact and religion are often incompatible unless viewed as cultural history instead of literal history)
Great show as always. Just pre-ordered "Drift" and can't wait for it to show up on my Kindle next week!
I just saw this video on youtube. An amazing mash up asking the question, who is the real Mitt Romney.
Devastating!

I have to say, though, that Romney didn't start this who-gives-a-sh!t-about-truth-anyway trend with regarding facts and "facts". He's just a little further ahead on the path of the whole Fox universe i.e. Fox News, the Republican party, etc.
