Just curious if people reading this blog have any recommendations for the Keystone state political bloggers and/or reporters that that TRMS ought to book in the upcoming Republican presidential primary? Mine own would be Colby Itkowitz and Keegan Gibson (he leans a bit to right, although that might just be mine reading too much into but still considering it's a Republican primary, that isn't a bad thing).
RM ~~ since your first nervous appearance on KO's show many hundreds of moons ago, *the* most important piece you have touched on, imho, is the short segment you presented on the Zelikow "torture" memo.
Some of us have not forgotten the ideological imperative behind the Bush/Cheney/Rove administration as condensed into this one imperious moment. It was brazenly illegal and unconstitutional, and subsequently dismissed by the present administration for purely political reasons.
May it never be forgotten. Thank you.

I had no idea our Country was even using torture methods until recently. When did this information become available to Americans? It makes me sick to think about what other civilized Countrys thought of us. No wonder a lot of these countrys embraced President Obama. There's a commercial that is run about the President and Obamacare which suggests that it was concocted behind closed doors. I beleive what the GOP concocted behind closed doors is nothing more than war crimes. This kind of legislature has to stop getting passed in the middle of the night behind closed doors and without the American People knowing about it. How do we stop this from going on at the local level? I can't get through to my Congress online it is virtually impossible to contact them anymore.
Thank you so much Rachel, for knowing that this is not "old business". As long as this wound festers, I will not be able to look at President Obama with the admiration that I want.
"Gut Check" indeed.
I appreciate the respectful dance Rachel has from time-to-time, including last night, with Santorum strategist Brabender. I'm a bit disappointed, though, with his somewhat evasive answers about Santorum's untruths about Calif Univs. history classes and Dutch death bracelets and that she didn't press him a bit more on that.
Rachel,
Thanks very very very much for your segment on the Zelikow Memo last night. I am hoping that your discussion, and especially the last minute and a half, will inspire new action on this front.
Bob
I too would like to thank Rachel for her coverage on the Zelikow memo. If a criminal act is not prosecuted, than such an act ceases to be criminal. War criminals must be brought to justice.
Dear Rachel;
Re: the Tampa Twine Ban
Everyone who’s ever watch a classic b-movie western knows, the most terrifying thing you can hear coming out of an angry mob is someone shouting “I got me a ball o’ twine right here!”
