Rachel, BIG congratulations!

Congratulation Rachel. Brillant book, I hope it really opens up a dialogue in this country and maybe we can stop going to war needlessly, and maybe take and some of that money that has been sent to the military can come back to the US and be spent on domestic issues such as infrastructure, education and health care.

Congrats Rachel. It looks like that "little girl" had something big to say. Way to go! We're all listening. :-)

Thanks so much for your hard work on this book, Rachel. I really believe a national discussion about the contents of this book will bring the left and the center together on some important issues. My neo-con friends are unlikely to pay attention, but other conservatives and moderates will be surprised on the extent to which they agree with your analysis of recent foreign policy snafus.

Well Done. It is a fine, fine book. The amount of preparation and thought are obvious. One cannot say that about many of the political books published each year.

Publisher is going to want a follow up, but remember, Rachel, you do not have to do one until you are ready. After all they have been after Nell Harper Lee for 50 years to do another. Don't be rushed into anything, but don't be afraid of the canard of a "sophomore jinx" either. :)

Time to update the resume to add "best-selling author." You go, girl!!

Rachel, Congrats, well deserved, I am 75% through the book and love every page, a real education, many thanks for this incredible effort of love. WHen I was a Poli Sci Student '79 to '84 i recall all these events, but I never saw the dark ugly underside. But we all know that Wienberger, North, Poindexter, Cheney, et, al were not the good guys!

For someone who doesn't like to write, you do it really really well.

I got the audio book version and Rachel's 'narration' is perfect. The 'oopsies' and other exclamations that have gotten too much attention are seemless accents when heard instead of read.
