Hubby.."Is it on for tonight? Hillary..."Did you get the the JFK mask?"
I have a new conspiracy theory on the bin Laden hideout story: Bushco paid the Pakistanis to shelter and protect Osama where nobody would suspect him and nobody could get at him. Why? A dead or captured Osama is a moneymaking boogeyman opportunity lost.
I always thought that too. I figured W found him when that whole "mission accomplished" thing happened. The war machine and all the associated affiliates can't make money or keep control over congress if the "war on terror" is over because the mastermind is captured or dead now, can it.
Ah, the business of war, so do we own their oil now?
just curious, on fukishima...dont we have lightweight waterproof material that is nuclear resistant? could we maybe harpoon/rocket a very long hose into the reactor area and pump water in? probably a dumb idea...but if we cant get anything in thats human or electronic, it see to me the challenge is to find away to get NEITHER into the area....like a mile or 2 long hose or something, however close they can get...it seems they need some way to get something into the area, and what better then a waterhose? if it needs water....
i mean a continuous water source would be good, but of course electronics go bad so you cant trust guidance missiles, need away to get a continuous water supply in so it would need to be able to fly in a straight projector for a specified time without electronics while carrying a payload. is that too simple of an idea? or to hard?
trebuche! trebuche!
Rachel, Please stop with this line about Parades, they're not to 'Welcome Home' our brothers and sisters serving now, they're for the flag wavers who Have Yet To Sacrifice as to not only the wars of choice but for the results of these wars now over a decade added to the previous decades!! You should be Demanding that the country starts Sacrificing then have all the parades they want, for themselves! The National and State VA's agencies have been underfunded for decades, especially in these times and this past decade, told to go shopping!!!
No Revenues = No Sacrifice = No Support = DeJa-Vu all over again!. Now a decade and counting, told to go shopping, added to the previous decades of under funding the VA, while the peoples reps Still try and lay blame on the Agency, after rubber stamping wars and costs of and those represented cheer on these wars!
While the wealthy and other investors garner their booty, still, from both and many have the chutz·pa to call themselves more patriotic{?} then others wrapped in those false flags, using false slogans and various cheap symbols of!
USN '67-'71 All Shore GMG3 Vietnam In Country '70-'71
Ask any Desert Storm Veteran, suffering from Gulf War Syndrome, thousands are, what the parades then did for them as the country has ignored them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vietnam veterans have started these parades to honor our soldiers. It is true a lot of Americans don't support these wars. But, thousands of soldiers have died in wars fighting for our freedom. When they came back from Vietnam alot of them were called baby killers and such. It is not their fault. I do believe President Bush should be paying for these parades, whatever it cost. He should supply the money for floats and marching bands and whatever else it takes. Even though recently we are going to war for all the wrong reasons (hopefully that will end) we should still honor our vets who are ,by no fault of their own , just as confused and used as the rest of us. They were willing to do what we could not.
Maddows point was definitely fair on yesterdays program, it would be a terrific idea to hold a parade-national parade that is. In my opinion It really wont make any sense in if the war is still going on because personally if i was in Afghanistan still fighting for my country and the country i am fighting for is holding a national parade behind my back i really wont be pleased. Again this is just my opinion.
(ps im open to any other opinions)
We should be able to have as many parades as we want and Bush should pay for them. Maybe we would start to forgive him them.
That is the whole point of this with Global Warming, you have a rigged and corrupt government sold out to corrupt, power craving, hypocritical, deceiving, arrogant, and greedy rich people. And the dirty shame of it all you have these religious church’s in on the deal, who have sold out themselves over what is a very dark agenda that will result in the despair and deaths of many people. What value or price their willing to pay for these atrocities they are committing absolutely nothing as they just want to continue down a destructive path. To be polite or think you can get something done with this by doing our usual paths of submitting a bill is foolish, since they have nothing but bought politicians who will block any real attempts at getting something done. And that my friends is exactly what these corrupt ones want you to do the typical ways of just submitting a bill and being nice. Also, these corrupt ones want you to say oh no don’t say or do that because we don’t want you to change to something better. Well unfortunately, we do not have the time to sit there and be nicely nice and hope to get something done, while people’s lives and future are at stake. People need to be speaking up in mass and in hopefully peaceful protest or we will never get anything done.

"THIS IS AN ISSUE OF HUMAN SURVIVAL
Every human being and some institutions on my e-mail list is getting a copy of this e-mail. This is just too important for you not to know about.
According to Robert Alvarez, former Senior Policy Adviser to the Secretary and Deputy Assistant Secretary for National Security and the Environment at the U.S. Department of Energy, if the spent fuel pool #4 at Fukushima Daichi falls from its precarious perch, "it could be the end of civilization as we know it."

Seems to me that Walker is acting like a Gov who knows he is on his way out of office. Kind of like Haley Barbour and all his pardons before he left office.
I love Rachel, but her stuff and the NYTimes stuff and comments about Fukushima being an ISSUE OF HUMAN SRUVIVAL is FoxNews-quality alarmism. As on FoxNews, there are no lies here, just big gaps in information. Reading the NYTimes link, one might think a few less inches of water, and we are back to danger levels of last year. That is not the case.
To use a Rachel-like analogy, radiaoctive materials are like a bunch of cartoon banditos firing their guns like mad in random directions. After a while, they start to run out of ammunition. The number of bullets goes down. Right after Fukushima tripped, the fuel was producind about 6% of full power. After a year, the remaining heat is about 0.1%. When Fukushima lost all cooling, we still had days to react. If for some reason we lost all cooling now, we'd have months to react.
And the idea of groundwater leakage is scary and potentially an economic disaster, radiation is not like lead or mercury or arsenic. For one thing, it doesn't last forever, it self-cleans up (the worst stuff, like iodine, has disappeared over the year and only less dangerous stuff remains). For another, it doesn't require laboratory tests to discover; radiation yells loudly "I am here" -- all you need is a hand-held instrument that anyone can buy.
Finally, think of the Bikini explosion that we've all seen (the giant ball of steam enveloping the tiny WW2 ships). When you see that - do you think "cool explosion" or "radiological disaster"? Above ground atomic bomb testing releases the same sort of radioactive stuff as Fukushima did. If Iran exploded a uranium bomb, how much press would be devoted to "Iran released Fukushima-type radiation poisoning itself"? Probably very little, since the "Iran has the ability to give terrorists nuclear bombs" is a lot more scary.
Source: Relative quantities grabbed from the web at http://www.physicsforums.com/showthread.php?t=481674
Three Mile Island released 20 Ci of 131I.
Chernobyl released 7x10^6 Ci of 131I
Above-ground nuclear testing in Nevada released about 1.5x10^8 Ci of 131I.
So Chernobyl was about .05 of US atomic testing releases, and and Fukushima about 0.005 of US atomic testing (Fukushima was about 10% of chernobyl per http://www.physicsforums.com/showthread.php?t=489491 ). It was not an ISSUE OF HUMAN SURVIVAL.
Better safe than sorry.
