Mike Wallace was never boring. Mike Wallace had a heart of gold. Mike Wallace was however apparently crappy as a half-truth-er. He asked questions of involvement and morality. In the dark ages of 1970’s, News, 60 Minutes ruled. It was the only major News program that respected its customers enough to explain the circumstances of said News event. If overall-brain-activity was used as a TV rating system, 60 Minutes would have many wins, hands down. Mike Wallace was a trail breaker in TV News coverage. I personality believe He thought entertainment and real truth can occupy the same sentence. I also suspect, Mike Wallace enjoyed Sherlock Holmes who-done-it novels. Or hated them, same difference. Truth is , if Mike Wallace had been a baseball player and I ended up on the mound pitching to him. I would have to be wondering, am I going to hold him to only one run-batted-in, or is he going to knock it out of the park ? Mike Wallace is one of the Babe Ruth’s of TV News. Hands Down !!
My mom has a star named after her. Cost me near fifty bucks about ten years ago for her birthday. She thought that was pretty cool. So…this Supernova is seven million light years away ? Doesn’t that mean it happened seven million years ago and we are now just seeing it ? Would not that mean that dinosaurs walked the Earth when it actually blew up ? That is like Time Travel, or someone who saves all our baby pictures...sort of….
it could also mean, it is our job to save the " baby pictures " for our next selves in the future..... Or not......How about if all nuclear weapons could be blown up in space and then some nicer speces could see it and come save us from wiping our selves off the planet ???..... Or not.... We got enough to worry about without stabbing each other in the back ????......or ...not.....
I beleive it's 3 dimensional via the whole new 3-D glasses. It was explained to me once that a person who gazes at stars and wonders is actually maturing or moving towards a higher consciousness and is able to see things more objectably. It is no longer survival of the fittest it is becoming survival of the smartest.
The ongoing problems with GOP finances nationwide hopefully will offset their restrictions they are placing on voter registration on the state level. Nothing like poorly organized caucuses, broke state committees and lack of infrastructure nationally, to back up GOP claims of knowing to fix the nation's financial problems.
"We had to struggle with the old enemies of peace--business and financial monopoly, speculation, reckless banking, class antagonism, sectionalism, war profiteering.
They had begun to consider the Government of the United States as a mere appendage to their own affairs. We know now that Government by organized money is just as dangerous as Government by organized mob.
Never before in all our history have these forces been so united against one candidate as they stand today. They are unanimous in their hate for me--and I welcome their hatred."

While watching part 2 on the Michigan legislature, I had at one point felt the need to exclaim something at my monitor in response to what Rachel said, so I wanted to share that thought. While she was discussing the fact that both Republicans and Democrats in the Michigan legislature have used these tactics previously, I thought she could have highlighted one very important fact. While Republicans are in control of the Michigan legislature, governorship, and attorney general(who has baffled me by filing an appeal on behalf the congressional Republicans in the lawsuit by the Democrats), the Democrats only had control of the house of representatives and governorship from 2007-2010. The last time Democrats "ran" Michigan like the Republicans are now was in 1984.
I am also curious as to whether the immediate effect "voting" has only taken place in the house of representatives, because Democrats have not had a majority in the senate since 1984. I thought this was the most appropriate place to comment rather than tracking back to the post for part 1.
