A brief interruption.
We're coming to you live from Los Angeles tonight with the makings of a great show in tow, as Rachel continues her book tour journey. Show prep was briefly interrupted while Rick Santorum suspended his campaign.

I don't even know how you watched it. Santorum is unwatchable. But thank God he's not the nominee.
Yes, I thought that, too...but then again, is Romney much better? At least Santorum was consistent with his BS. I really hope my man gets re-elected this year or I may consider moving to Canada!
Nope Brandi he's definitely no better..well maybe he is. He isn't trying to get into our uterus'. I mean he SAYS he is but he SAYS a lot of things. He is like a weather vane.
If my vajajay could speak, I'm sure it would say "phew!".
Book tour journey goes here?

Romney/Santorum 2012...?
From your lips to a hugely amused God's ear.
Wow - looks like a really fun book tour....???
Nice to see Rachel back in what looks like the nearly universal garb of her home state: jeans and a t-shirt - fit for all seasons, all occasions, all weathers in the Golden State.
I know you will have many words of wisdom tonight about Santorum, Rachel, like you do about everything! I absolutely LOVE your show and am amazed at your insight and knowledge! I also love the fact that if you do make an error, you always acknowledge it unlike some networks that will not be mentioned here! Keep up your fantastic work!
I bet on YOUR book tour there won't be a guy dressed up as an elephant.
LOL.....in this case stands for 'Lots Of Love' for your book!!!
I heard her today on WAMC, from a thing in Vermont.
"Why do people like Rick Santorum always "suspend" their campaign? It's not hanging anywhere, you lost, take it like a martyr." - Bill Maher on Facebook
I would have prefered Santorum had stayed a little longer , he was hurting Mitt Romney politically , by making him swing hard to the right , you can see it in the polling , specially with women voters , Obama needs to keep hammering the republicans and Mitt on the issue of womens reproductive and contraceptive rights , if I was in the Obama campaign I would run that 30 second clip of Mitt Romney saying he is going to get rid of Planned Parenthood if he becomes president over and over again until election day in all of the battle ground states. That and the fact that Mitt Romney has also said he is against the Dream Act , are two issues that Obama can use to drive a huge wedge against the republicans with women voters and the hispanic voters as well , Obama needs to remind the Hispanic community of Mitt Romneys stance against the Dream Act. Mitt Romney has a steep hill to climb back from , its up to Barack Obama to make sure he has a hard time climbing it.Obama needs to keep republicans on the defensive with their war on womens rights , its a winning issue for Democrats and the president as well.
I'm trying to decide if I want you to sign my Nook. It'd make it awfully hard to read, though.
Please, Rachel, don't forget Detroit deaf kids! http://www.stillscenes.com/?p=771
Burbank studios look kind of dumpy... Will you guys be heading up to NBC San Jose for the rest of the week?
Looking forward to seeing Rachel at Castro Theatre on Thursday! Welcome home, girl!
I have a question about the $4Bil. that Gov. Christie spent that was to go toward the upgrade of the train tunnel between NJ and NY. He put it in a pension fund that was supposed to be funded by gasoline taxes that he promised, in his campaign, not to raise. If my understanding is correct, how can a governor spend money on something that is earmarked for infrastructure renovation. Now the money is gone and when the tunnel and tracks completely dissolve will the next governor then get more billions to fix something that should have been fixed now. And, will then cost even more money. Not very fiscally conservative. He spent our federal tax money on a state pension fund so he would look good to his constituents.
That's kind've the point. He used federal tax dollars to offset the cost of his own deficit created by his own policies and in the meantime denied jobs to the unemployed.
Rachel,
Congrats on your best seller book. You realize, this makes you the literary equal of Snookie.
