I LOVE MSNBC! I watch it all the time! I can't think of a better place to get news on politics and other stuff! I will always remain faithful to this station! I just can't express enough how good this network is!
Preposterous. The Mayor of Springfield has a very strong Boston accent, and I'm sure I've seen that very same landfill somewhere out in central or western Mass somewhere.

Seriously, horselovers all over the US are going to be troubled by this news. Yes, it does cost something short of an arm and a leg simply to maintain your average horse in a standard-of-living that won't bring the ASPCA investigating...and maintaining show/sport horses is an astronomical undertaking. But nobody does it simply because it's expensive; you have to love the sport and the animals. Some people sacrifice quite a lot to be in the arena when the ribbons are awarded.

West is, of course, channeling one of the most despicable people in American political history, "Tailgunner" Sen. Joe McCarthy. McCarthy was famous for holding up a sheet of paper in dog-and-pony Congressional hearings and claiming, "I have here in my hand the names of xx State Department employees who are members of the Communist Party." Days or weeks later, the number would be different. In retrospect, it appeared the strategy was to make the question not "Are there Communists in the State Department?" but "How many Communists are there in the State Department?"
Sadly, even Ike, who is now enjoying renewed appreciation, was apprehensive about calling out McCarthy's character assassination.
I enjoyed watching Thomas Roberts hold that smarmy sycophant Reince Priebus's feet to the fire this morning as Priebus doubled down (his words) on his previous "War on Caterpillars" comments. However, I kept yelling at the TV for Roberts to ask that twit "How in the hell can women get the jobs that you claim is all they care about when you take away (such as Texas did) or try to take away (such as Blunt-Rubio attempted to do and the GOP keeps attempting to do) their access to affordable health care?? Really? REALLY??" Unfortunately, neither Roberts nor his producer could hear me yelling my questions at the TV. Sigh...
