Today's installment of campaign-related news items that won't necessarily generate a post of their own, but may be of interest to political observers:
* The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee is hoping to exploit opposition to Paul Ryan's House Republican budget plan, putting up billboards in the districts of 14 vulnerable House Republicans. The message accuses GOP members of favoring "millionaires over Medicare."
* Asked about possibly joining the 2012 Republican ticket, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) said yesterday, "If Governor Romney comes to me and wants to talk about it, I'll always listen."
* As far-right groups rally behind Indiana state treasurer Richard Mourdock in this year's Republican Senate primary, the American Action Network is rallying behind incumbent Sen. Dick Lugar, running nearly $600,000 in attack ads against Mourdock.
* Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D), who recently lost in a Democratic primary in his home district, is still considering a move to the state of Washington, where he'd launch a new House campaign.
* Americans Elect has had to push back its voting process and has recently lost several staffers.
* In Wisconsin's gubernatorial recall, most labor support is going to former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk (D), but Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett (D) picked up some union endorsements this week.
* And Rep. Ron Paul (R) is still apparently running for president, and even launched this new television ad in his home state of Texas, which will hold its primary on May 29.

Ohio Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D), who recently lost in a Democratic primary in his home district, is still considering a move to the state of Washington, where he'd launch a new House campaign.
Please, Dennis, don't embarrass yourself. There are lots of important things you can do now that you're out. Don't let the ol' ego get in the way like this.
Americans Elect has had to push back its voting process and has recently lost several staffers.
Awww, too bad. Couldn't happen to a better bunch of people who prove by their existence that there is no connection between the brain and the billfold. Maybe gold-plated gold-digger Lady Rothschild can find some other fools to take their places.
I want Kucinich to run in Washington. He is a dependable left-winger with guts and experience in "ways of the House". No war. No torture. No abuse of Presidential power. No nonsense. Go Dennis.

My favorite Ron Paul campaign commercial!
there is still a GOP presidential campaign to be run folks - don't let the main stream media fool you into thinking its all over.
Evangelicals are finally seeing the light, and Ron Paul is the/their man.
Its not too late to make a difference.
There is not one doubt in my mind who to vote for and that is Ron Paul. He is the only candidate who is even for Americans. The others are for everybody except Americans. How any of these other candidates can even be considered for the job is beyond me. The others want to continue to tax and spend, give our borrowed money to other countries, police the world at our expense, control our every move from craddle to grave, treat us like idiots who can not take care of ourselves without there constant vigilance, strengthen the already giant monopolies of the media, hollywood, banking, federal reserve, defense machine, and retail prices of everything, for the wealthy elite. Our country has been taken over by outsiders who do not have our best interest in mind. Israel has more power in our country than all the teachers associations of america put together. Inorder to run for a major office you must have the blessings of the american israel political action group or there media will exclude you as being unelectable and proceed to destroy you in the eyes of the voters. You have only to look at what they did to president carter when he came out with his book about “the truth” how Israel is mistreating the palestinians. ..He was attacked by the american media from all sides, which is proof enough for me to be in favor of immediate break up of our media monopoly with redistribution of stations to insure freedom of speech for all. Ron Paul is the only candidate who has not agreed to attack Iran at the demand of Israel. Therefore he is considered unelectable by the media and all the people who live by the word of the media. If the jews want peace , they should agree to give up there atomic bombs in exchange for Iran stopping there atomic adventures. If either country needs atomic energy for utilities, they should be allowed to buy atomic power plants from the major powers, with the main goal being to do away with atomic weapons as soon as possible for all. The day of aggression must be over for all and we must learn to be happy with what we have and never covet what our neighbor has
Did anyone see that 30 Rock gave a shout out to Rachel Maddow on this weeks episode?
So that Ron Paul Commercial is up on my fb now. Don't agree with a lot of his ideas, but his commercials are pure gold!
