We're fans of the lamp. And of Rachel, of course.
This past weekend, Rachel visited Milwaukee, WI and Kansas City, MO as part of her Drift book tour. Little did we expect such tremendously warm welcomes from the audiences! Milwaukee and Kansas City, we thank you. 2012 Tour de Drift continues this weekend in Washington, D.C. - we'll have more pictures then.

A nice big Kansas City welcome!

Ever wonder what 2400 signed copies of "Drift" looks like? Wonder no more.

How long does it take to sign 2400 copies of Drift?
And what do you do about the writers cramp?
"The $64,000 question" including taxes?
It really does not take all that long to do if you have a helper to open the books and lay each before you. If you have a second helper to take the book after you have whipped off your name with your Sharpie it goes even faster
But my question is why the "Little Old Lady" setting in pic #1? Does not seem Rachellly :)
Maybe some day, my copy will get signed.
Oh my blessed God - I would almost get married again to get my copy signed. No, maybe not. But I would start dating again.
That is provided anyone would want to date an old, terribly independent woman that has significant control problems. Hehehe. My sons would roll over laughing.
I am so proud of Rachel's book, of her intelligence, of her kudos especially from those who disagree and most of all that as a woman, even I can share in her success vicariously.
What I wanna know is how long does it take to stack up those books.
No human being would stack books like that.
I've been reading it all day today (slow day at work) and it's making me fume. I don't see how Reagan survived with the reputation that he has. It's disgusting.
Oh, man...I'm gonna cry. I'm from KC. Which week am I out of town? The week Rachel's in KC. Where am I? Washington, DC. When do I leave? Tomorrow! Where is Rachel this weekend? DC!!!
Glad the book's doing well, even if you're obviously and intentionally avoiding me. =]
Wow, that's a huge crowd, as big as the one at the 92nd St. Y in 2010.

Ah! A book pyramid!
And buried deep inside, a copy of Wallis Budge's The Mummy.
Great event in Kansas City. Thanks for coming. Need a transcript of your response to the 'who to be stuck with you in an elevator' question!!
Show Off! ;P
Seriously, 'Drift' Rocks! On Amazon.com, even Republicans and Conservatives are praising it! Knowledge is Good, even if some choose to ignore facts.
Congratulation, Doc - You earned it!
Come to Vancouver, BC?!
I was in the crowd in San Francisco. Standing in the huge line that snaked all around the Castro theater, we wondered how she could sign books for that long. Rachel did chat with people a bit, which probably prevented the hand cramp.
Come back and talk to us again, Rachel. You don't need to write another book, I promise. Please come back!
