The American Family Association's Bryan Fischer has a new and typically innovative theory about the motivations of President Obama. To wit (with our own annotations):

To Barack Obama, the entire United States of America is one big, giant Ku Klux Klan6 and the Constitution, for Barack Obama, is the membership charter for this giant Ku Klux Klan7 ... And I honestly believe8 that this is how Barack Obama sees the United States of America; one big, giant Ku Klux Klan meeting9 and it's his job to punish the Ku Klux Klan, which is the United States of America in his worldview."10

5 — Look at what he wears. Look at his family. Listen to how he speaks. Clearly Barack Obama is a rage-filled instrument of pure vengeance.
6 — This info will come as a HUGE surprise to the millions of non white male protestants who live in this country. Bit of a membership shocker for the Klan, too, I suspect.
7 — He must have learned that in one of those radical liberal civics madrassas used to indoctrinate Hawaiian kids.
8 — When people say, "I honestly believe" -- they honestly don't.
9 —Does he mean a big giant meeting of the Klan or a meeting of big giant Klansmen? Giant Klansmen—now there's a Marvel comics villain. Avengers Assemble!

I saw some joker today with a Romney for pres poster in his car window . I rolled down the window looked at the guy and said Romney? Romney? Seriously? . Then just laughed and rode off.
I was on my way to the VA today and as I went down the road I saw on the side of the road a huge red sign touting some republican.....in the background/yard of the house the sign was on sat a rundown singlewide that actually looked smaller than the sign.......going back tommorrow for pics since it was raining today.....I laughed during the entire trip....its very sad though.

The dude was clearly mistreated by his parents. He wants attention so bad until he will say anything no matter how STUPID it sounds.
Frequently I wonder if kooks like this should even be allowed air time, and, then again, I wonder if the First Amendment is a way to gauge the intelligence of a community. It is hoped that the majority can see the ridiculousness of the words spoken by those on the fringe.
I didn't realize there were so many ways of showing your hatred and bigotry toward another person. What a shame we can't get past this type of behavior in this country! I guess there will always be people who try to get their ideas across in this manner. I am so afraid that our country is going to someday end up with the extreme right wing pseudo religious fanatics determining how we will live. Sad,sad feelings.

As a child my mother in law went to a Sunday picnic with relatives (1920's) when she got home she told her mother all about the picnic, what they had to eat and oh yes after they ate all the adult men put on robes and put hoods over their heads. She had attended her first clan meeting at a lazy summer Sunday picnic in a southern Michigan town. She never went to another Sunday picnic with those relatives. POINT almost 100 years later those same feelings are alive and well in the middle of this country and other parts as well, now they call themselves the militia but it is the same thing. Mr American Family Association knows this and he is preaching to the choir who will gladly spread his message.
