Your humble Virginia license plate correspondent still owes you a roundup of suggested messages for Virginia's new "Don't Tread on Me" license plate. Meanwhile, Karen Dunnam of Grand Rapids, Michigan, sends this picture of herself with a suit and sign she made herself.
She writes: "Lacy blouse, $3. Fancy jacket, $4. Hat and Mardi Gras plumes from stash. Nice white band gloves. PVC from stash. Civil War striped socks." Karen says she designed the sign herself -- "Michiganders are typographers!" -- and you can get a "VOTES WOMEN" suffragette sash here.
And please, world, do keep sending stuff. You increase our happiness.

Priceless!
Thanks, Laura!
As ususal, the only problem with postings from Laura Conway is that there are not enough of them!
Thanks, Laura!
Love this. Can you sell these flags? I would buy on!!
Mary, I ordered mine from vistaprint dot com, the free business cards place. Hardest part was locating the graphic...I wanted an early 20thC woodcut-looking gonad structure.
Your local Kinko -- I mean, FedEx Office -- would have the capability to print something out on tabloid-size Suffrage Saffron and laminate it.
The VOTES FOR WOMEN graphic printed out nicely using inkjet iron-on transfers. Yeah, I'm a printing geek...look on the Detroit Free Press site for discussion of a "pica pole."
Awesome.
Love it!
you go girl!!
