I think, that in all actuality, the perverse exclamations of the word "communist" is altogether a cover-up of the fascist' that ultimately purvey the word.
When you mentioned Mr. v.d. Sloot's lawyers' lawsuit threats last time I vaguely remembered something about promotional photos - like, I'm sure, the one on his webpage - being, at least, fair-use-fodder. (The scope of fair use law is fairly narrow, I am given to understand, at least compared to the broad application it's sometimes popularly taken to have - but promotional photos -do- fall under it. I think. ... ) Still, the intimidation is what counts :(
