Is it just me, or does this third-party ad for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker come with an arguably literary echo?

Is it just me, or does this third-party ad for Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker come with an arguably literary echo?

I see a thematic echo:
"Forward Progress" May 9, Wisconsin Recall Action Fund (ad above)
"Forward, Backward" May 7, Walker campaign: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIiSHXPcmUc
"Tom Barrett - Backward" April 25, Republican Governor's Association: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cpCDkg919k
In addition, two of the three dates cited for Barrett as Milwaukee Mayor in the "Forward Progress" ad were also dates when Walker was Milwaukee County Executive. Scott Walker was Milwaukee Co Exec for over 8 years, and his tenure in that position ended only 16 mos ago. He would like everyone to forget he had anything to do with Milwaukee. It's a delicate dance -- running from the place where you were the longstanding County Exec at the same time your opponent was the mayor.
What you're describing sounds a little like the handoff from President Bush to President Obama.
As for the echo, I'm still holding holding out.
Wait, Scott Walker is Jebus, footprints in the sand?
It just amazes me how much money he has wasted he could have exited the country with that kind of dough. It could have been put to good use like feeding the poor or helping create a few jobs. The man needs his head examined. He's just trying to set himself up for a flow of money given to him by tax payers living in Wisconsin. He should accept his defeat and try out for a new line of work how about working for the IRS. That seems more fitting.
