Hi Rachel. I was wondering if you might do some live coverage of all the GOP Convention Fraud, cheating, shenannigans, etc., ect., being committed by the establishment GOP, and the Mitt Romney Camp?? I was also hoping you might do some coverage on Ron Paul supporters being assaulted by Roney supporters in both Az, and Ok... Thank You Rachel.
I hope some of you Paul supporters are carrying camera's. I'd love to see you catch those a-wipes on smile-o-vision.
: )
I was thinking the same thing. Here is Oklahoma's KFOR reporting the story: http://kfor.com/2012/05/13/26390/
So this billionaire isn't rich enough?
Interesting that the Right wants to ban "Sharia Law," when they're trying to enact laws that smack of Sharia, and sound for all the world, not much different from the Taliban.
Well, of course Kansas wants to ban Sharia law - Kansas hates the competition for it's own, home-grown, repressive, intolerant, ignorant and bullying
behaviorstate law "system".hahah Kansas Bans Sharia law? hmm. Let us adopt all their laws and give it a shiny new label...let's call it Conservative States Rights laws, that way no one will see they are actually Sharia law. ooh CSR almost like CSI people love Tv they wont actually see what we are doing. now where did we put that girls must dress modestly law at...
After all, dressing provocatively is what causes rape, right?
Rachel- your my hero, really! Please help? I just took my last classes (for now) and was finished last Sunday, and thought I would write an article on the Student Loan Debacle, thought it would look good; I want to teach at a college. Now, I see the student loan debt and more underlining issues go so much further, for instance, corruption on a major scale. Now, it’s looking like more a book prospect. I have no idea on even how to organize such a thing, there are so many facets---way more than I even knew about 8 days ago. And what depresses me even more, is that our governmental representation and their relatives are involved in the corruption too. I just thought our governmental representation were turning a blind eye, like they always do with issues in regards to the poor, but NO many are just 'corrupt absolutely!’ for more: http://studentloandebacle.blogspot.com/

Hi Rachel. Can you let the Republican know that their nominee is an idol worshipper. That either Obama and Mitt Romey has weaknesses. None of them is perfect.
I take it that the elected "officials" in Kansas has never bothered to read the Constitution or anything else that pertains to our government.
We aren't in Kansas anymore?
I seem to get confused so easily any more – is it the part of Sharia law that requires the prosperous to give a percentage of their wealth to the poor that has upset the legislators in Kansas? Or is it the part that prohibits the charging of interest – the woman’s right to a divorce or perhaps it is the somewhat excessive requirement to produce four male eye witnesses for the stoning of an adulterer or adulteress. It could also be that Sharia is too soft on crime in general – if the accused victim or victim’s family forgive the crime, restitution or the payment of “blood money” could reduce any sentence time.
This is of course terrible – much preferred are the values the Theocratic Dominionists yearn to impose on the nation – they seem rather interested in making the Law of Moses the law of the land.
So relax – you are safe from Sharia Law - the good legislators of Kansas have your back.
Soap-on-a-rope anyone?

Two female students say they were not allowed to attend Lexington Catholic High School's prom as a couple Saturday night, upsetting a number of students at the school.
Hope Decker, 18, a senior, and sophomore Tiffany Wright, 16, had already gotten their dresses for the event, but Friday afternoon they were told by school administrators they could not attend as a couple because of the church's stance on same-sex relationships, Wright said.
In an email Sunday, Lexington Catholic president Steve Angelucci said, "As a Catholic high school, we uphold every teaching of the Catholic Church. The policies and procedures of our school reflect those teachings."
When the couple tried to enter the school's gymnasium, where the prom was held, they were turned away, so Wright said they held their own prom in the school's parking lot.
"I would understand and respect the school's decision if they truly upheld church teachings," Wright said Sunday night. "They didn't forbid the entrance of all the couples who've had premarital sex and all the kids who planned to get drunk after the prom."

I fully understand that this is America and everybody is entitled to their own religion or their choice of politics, but for the life of me I just can't see how a Latino or Hispanic republican can possibly help his own people. I mean if you can't remember where the hell you came from, then I'd rather you stop pretending as if you know what the hell is best for us. Mark Rubio probably doesn't even know what the dream act entails, so he should keep his opinions to himself, thank you very much.
