If not, I recommend it, it was on netflix this winter.
What can you say about this? What great accomplishments have the Queen and her stewards made? Do these outweigh the sheer heartache one such picture depicts? I used to enjoy the olympics when I was young until they turned it into a freak show the amount of money wasted on so-called art is to me a morbid show of glutteny. I would rather that money be used to help feed and get much needed medicine to communities in the world that have been used and exploited. If the Olympics were just the olympics I would have no problem with it, the theatrics now connected to this event are a disgusting overeach to compete artisticly with each other as nations. Art was never meant to be a competition. Too much emphasis is put on winning and being number 1. Can't we just settle on being #7. Nobody is better than anybody else we are all born with the same amount of worth. Romney is a Bully who wants to win at everything, and he is losing. I think we need to get off the steroids.
Bush, Cheney et al are convicted as War Criminals. This does not come as a surprise, but it's not much mentioned in the US Press. Wonder why ... hmmm.

Marc Ambinder was such a worthless purveyor of the CW of the day that I doubt any of his lessons learned would be worth reading. Washington will not suffer for his absence.
That new Bain capital, anti-Romney ad is the sort of short, direct, simple ad that the Dems need to be running every single day between now and the elections in November.
IMO - Romney is ONLY in this thing for profit. In both personal wealth and influence for himself and, I expect more importantly, increasing even more the sphere of influence for his church. He never really talks about making things better for the American people - he does talk constantly about making things better for American business. The American voters need to pay attention to his words.
Did anyone notice the new CBS Poll which has Romney ahead by 3% (46% to 43%) nationwide? Very interesting! Even MORE interesting is the fact that Romney's support among women is growing, while Obama's support is falling. Very interesting indeed.
Also, I just forwarded a HOT tip to the Washington Post, a hot hot hot tip. SCORCHING hot!..... I have it on good authority that in 1959 Mitt Romney copied the math homework of one Sally Henderson. There have been webcams in Yosemite for more than 7 years--only one is new. The Yosemite Falls webcam went live just recently, within the last week.

Yanno, the assemblyman is exactly right. If you have only a finite amount of food or money and you spend it all on the boys while the girls do without the boys will do much better than the girls. Conversely, if you share it out equally to both boys and girls the boys won't do as well as they would if they got it all.
I can't help but wonder what other areas he applies his genius to.
