George Will re Eliz. Warren: "She who wants Wall Street "held accountable" is accountable for two elite law schools advertising her minority status. She who accuses Wall Street of gaming the financial system at least collaborated with and perhaps benefited from the often absurd obsession with diversity.' Talk about a false equivalence. Warren who may or may not have Native American blood, is unqualified to fight against blatant financial manipulation effecting millions of Americans because of this, according to Mr Will's twisted logic.
Of course: Telling lies and engaging in fraud are excellent qualifications for being a Senator. Right?

Holly crap! I would be calling a lawyer ASAP.
AND the local news! Just to get the story out! Damn Koch Bros!!
To nomoremagicalthingking is George Will is your idea of an unbiased journalist you should do a little more searching. I wanted to say thank you Rachel I had not seen the ad with Jayne Lynch as the moderator, it was wonderful. My 16 year old is a member of the LGBT community and I cried while I watched that video, it is one of the reasons I will fight with every bone in my body to get President Obama re-elected.
I thought using 'twisted logic' to describe George Will adequately described my feelings about his diatribe.
Whatever we think about Will, the facts remain, Cherokee Princess Warren has apparently engaged in lying, fraud, and plagiarism.
If a Repuglikkklan had done this, wouldn't this blog be ripping him/her to bits? Well, the shoe's on the other foot. Get out those chainsaws.
"the facts remain"...where? Last I saw her great, great grandmother was Cherokee or so Elizabeth had been told by her family since girlhood. The new head of the Cherokee nation has the same 1/32 heritage. It is not lying, fraud, or plagiarism as I understand any of those terms or the context you are claiming. Perhaps, there is newer information; please provide at least a reliable source to back up your statement.
Judy:
Actually the onus is on Cherokee Princess Warren to provide evidence of her Cherokee lineage. She made the assertion, and repeated it over the years; she has to back it up.
Still, in the interest of fair play, here's a source, not Breitbart or some crazy birther, that tends to back up the accusations:

So, the ball's in her court.... At stake: showing she's not a liar, fraudster, or plagiarizer (the real source of those recipes). In other words, whether her character is what we would hope for in a Senate candidate.
I hear chainsaws . . . .
He's not perfect, he does not walk on water, but I never thought I would hear a President says anything like this. I could just cry with happiness.

Okay, that's good for the gloating. But look deeper, at the graph they include. It shows how viewers do by ideology. And in that graph the people who do best are "Liberal watching MSNBC." (But of course!) However, the second-lowest are "Conservative watching MSNBC." They do worse than "Conservative watching FOX News."
One thing I draw from this is that we truly are becoming a nation with at least two factions so separated that we speak different languages.
And the other thing I take from it is: Shouldn't MSNBC take these results as a challenge? Wouldn't it be an achievement for MSNBC if they also informed conservatives?
(And to those who think it's just their being conservatives that's the problem, remember that the second least-informed group on that graph was "Liberal watching FOX News.")
Last night I received a call from Voter Consumer Resources. It claimed to be a poll but the questions were very slanted against President Obama. I finally confronted the interviewer and he told me Voter Consumer Resources is part of American Crossroads a Republican PAC. How low will they go? If you get a call from Voter Consumer Resources just say no thank you
MSNBC DOES inform conservatives...if they watch MSNBC. Or, are you saying MSNBC should start pushing right wing propaganda (lies)?
Perhaps looking at the link will aid your reading comprehension.
I've quit paying close attention to the MSNBC evening shows (except Rachel) because they tend to harp on five or six stories over and over, and do not give us a good sense of all the major news of the world.
I was able to answer all the questions I saw because my primary news sources are The Economist and the Financial Times. Yes, they have a right-wing bias, but you can cut through that to get to the factual basis of their reporting. Besides, it's good to know what your enemies are thinking.
