It's Wisconsin recall day. Mother Jones has the numbers.
There are also primaries in Iowa, California, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico and South Dakota.
Local elections boards in Florida are advised to stop the voter purge, while Gov. Rick Scott defends it.
Solyndra, meet Konarka.
How Romney used to talk about the individual mandate.
If you don't have the equipment to watch the Transit of Venus yourself, watch it live with NASA here.

Prediction: If Walker loses the election according to the pundits it won't mean anything. But if Walker wins the recall election it will mean that Obama can't possibly be re-elected. The spin on the results will almost be as nauseating as the GOP attack ads.
Texas officially perpetuates ignorance and poverty, creating a state of wage slavery.
In Wisconsin, notice the difference between in state and out of state money. How about, "If you can't vote for the candidate, you cannot donate to the candidate" Just too much money from so few.
If Walker wins there are Huge ramifications for the entire Democratic Party. It is the beginning of the end of it.
Why so few people talk about it or realize it leaves me wondering. The whole idea if busting unions across this country, is a major way of de-funding the Democratic Party.
The Republicans have Big Business and and no shortage of Mega Oligarchs that can reach in their pocket and pull out 100, 200 300 or 400 million dollars on a whim.
Fact is 90% of all of the money funding the entire Republican Party is supplied from only 18 people this year. They plan to spend a BILLION DOLLARS + to take down the President.
Who of us wants to live under a one party rule. This would be the beginning of a fascist Government and the end of Democracy.
If Scott Walker wins, it's not the beginning of the end.
It would be an indication that the end is already in process; its beginnings planted long ago with the disintegration of the middle class and working unions, the accumulation and redistribution of power through and to a wealthly few, and distractive preoccupation of general representative power with fundraising. None of this happened just overnight or even over the course of the last couple years. It's not even fascism we're fighting; the fight is over the transformation of our democratic republic into an oligarchy.
Worse for news media, it would indicate the growing and even continued ineffectiveness of the left, progressive, and even moderates to get a message out; that their news can be drowned out by the noise of the conservative, right, and wealthy. If Walker wins, I feel sorry for Ed Schultz and MSNBC, who's been on this recall election since the beginning. For all the punditry, it could all be for naught.
This is a milestone for the state of the country. The results of this election will be in the news and confirm for many the tone of their own political sentiments. But this is just one milestone out of many, so brace yourself. Next up, the Supreme Court decision on the Affordable Health Care Act.
Meanwhile, in PA Gov."TinMan"Corbett moves forward with his plan to turn PA into TXEast! http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/attytood/Corbetts-Shell-game-A-brand-new-way-to-frack-our-school-kids.html
Even if the promised 20,000 jobs are realized (which I doubt), as with the fracking jobs, they will not go to PA residents, but rather to TX imports!!!
If you're wondering WHY he would do such a thing, be sure to read the part about the donations the TinMan/Scrarecrow received.
