A progressive friend in Wisconsin says folks there have been passing around funny videos as a distraction after the white-heat of the recall season. Hamlet the Mini Pig couldn't pick a finer time to go wandering down the stairs.
Sometimes a mini pig is just a mini pig

Are you sure it isn't - Ham-lette? Mmmmmm . . . ham . . .
Okay, I laughed out loud. And I needed that!
Great, now I need one.
Thank you. I needed this.
I think it's that last little 'jump' that makes it for me!!! ;o)
That is adorable! I really look forward to an oatmeal breakfast too. Cute little guy. Needed this post WI. Hope you guys got some sleep. Thanks for the reporting
They say any kind of pig is so smart. A friend of mine raises feeder pigs to go, um, ......to the big house. and they raise 2 or 3 in the house for awhile. and they potty train themselves to a certain spot in their pen, and they learn quickly how to get doors open, TV on, etc. they learn anything they want to do. Big pigs kind of scare me, but a little mini pig would be so cute.
Omigod, this little thing practically fell into the oatmeal! Sounds like a guinea pig with a head cold....
Thank you Rachael. Makes me want to eat a big bowl of ice cream.
The first step is always the hardest. As a friend of mine would say: "That's a life lesson."
My dog loved it! Of course as a Boston Terrier he though it was a distant cousin--they even sound alike.(over a thousand bucks to fix his soft palate and he still snorts and snores)
A three point landing into the oatmeal was priceless!
Awww. I need me one of those little guys.
Pigs, because sometimes people let you down.
That's the truth.
Many of us are sad. But we're considering other options: http://www.borowitzreport.com/2012/06/05/canada-bracing-for-wisconsin-boat-people/
Wow... that little thing eats like a pig. :-|
That'll do, Pig.
Rather like Wisconsin being led to the slaughter..apologies, I'm not sharing the happy fuzzy wuzzies on this.
so cute!
That was like watching an adorable video game from 1988.
*squeals* CUTE!
I am sad, disgusted, frustrated, confused and totally incredulous that ALL THESE PEOPLE that stood outside when it was 10 below zero... have suddenly changed their minds? Was there a guy on the corner paying people to vote Republican? The pig provided a diversionary smile and a few chuckles... but what I really need is for someone to wake me up and tell me that Walker lost... BIG TIME!!
I assume that Rachel is in control of what articles get posted on her blog. Therefore she apparently wants to show us a cute, fuzzy pig to distract us from the GIANT SCREWING we suffered yesterday. It's like ~"hey, folks, look at this, don't think about that."
Rachel helped set all of us up for this, as did MSNBC. She was one of the cheerleaders for our cause. Don't get me wrong, we need cheerleaders. We need honest reporters, and Rachel is a good one. What we don't need is a network or a reporter who casually dismisses our anger and our sense of loss with a carnival distraction. Rachel, please remember you don't want to come across as Lucy holding the football for Charlie Brown, because that is what this feels like.
Now that was just WAY to cute. There was a lady that thought it would be a good idea to take one to the off-leash dog park so he could run around. Mind you all the dogs saw was "Bacon, Bacon, Bacon".......
I thought this video was adorable and it inspired me to start posting videos of our mini pig.
Mini pigs are wonderful pets if you are prepared to keep them regardless of how big they get and can keep up with their needs. This is definitely not a temporary trend-setting pet. They live for up to 20 years and need time, attention and particular health care. In return, though, they provide endless entertainment, lots of funny stories (see my blog below) and tons of love and loyalty.
