Happy Monday!
Tonight's guests include:
Chris Hayes, host of “Up with Chris Hayes” on MSNBC and author of “Twilight of the Elites: America After Meritocracy”
Jared Bernstein, former member of President Obama's economic team and former economic adviser to Vice President Biden, currently a senior fellow at the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and MSNBC contributor
Rep. Rush Holt, (D) New Jersey, member of the House Committee on Natural Resources
Here's tonight's soundtrack! Be sure to let the ad below play out entirely before starting the song.
Executive producer Bill Wolff shares a preview of tonight's show:

Natural Resources exist to be dug up and used up. This isn't the House Unecological Activities Cmmte., after all.
I don't mean to be cranky, but seriously is there some reason Bill Wolff's previews are always shot with the light behind him so we can't see his face? If you absolutely love that window as background, could you bring in a desk lamp or something and shine it, softly, on his face so we can see his mug?
I always think of Chris Hayes as hosting a program called Up! Up! With Chris Hayes! after the signature song of the 60's era relentlessly cheerful singing group called Up With People! Hey, I guess you had to be there.
It’s said G.H.W. Bush cried when those men died on the crashing plane. But did he cry for the people who died on 911, when his irresponsible son let 911 happen making him equally as a murderer and proving how lacking Bush Junior really is. Am I suppose to feel sympathy for G.H.W. Bush, because it is his birthday? I hardly think so, if I had done that and took on their attitude of craving power, greed, corruption, hypocrites, arrogance, and deceiving too many people would of quite literally died. And their lack of concern is too appalling to even think about.
Thank You for all of your reporting re what has been happening in the state of Michigan under their present Republican governor and his administration. A thorough scandal - shame, indeed!
When I read a report on MSNBC website today about the privatization (sic) of public parks/lands in Benton Harbor MI, I immediately thought of you. Must the actual physical footprint of the town be pulled apart, along with all the rest? Public parks, public lands are set aside for perpetuity, and - to quote Teddy Roosevelt - for "the enjoyment of the people." That does not mean developers, cronies et al.
Referring again to the article, certainly the National Park Service needs more help to police such abuses as the sort we're seeing on the local level in Michigan. A cautionary tale for the rest of us...
Keep up the great work - I always enjoy your program!

I WANT Ezra's CHART...I WANT it, I NEED it to send to all my GOP friends that are seriously DELUDED!!!
I think when you put Ezra Klein and Chris Hayes on the same show, a kitten is born.
GOP congress - economic suicide bombers.
Grover Norquist and the job creators - Mullahs of the Free Market fundamentalists
Sucking a throat lozenge,
(OLBAs Black Currant flavor!)
Thinking of you.
Regards.
Ezra.....
Europe warns that more pubic workers are needed??
When Ezra Klein and Chris Hayes are on the same show . . . the wingnuts go NUTS !
I'd like to see Rachel deconstruct the word propaganda - to illuminate the subtle distinctions between influence and lying which are used by politicians to sanitize their biases.
