I remember a business in Michigan, real estate, I think, named Butts and Swisher.
^5 ! Butts and Swisher. LOL! Makes me think of a legit Horsham, PA business: 'FatherAndSonExterminating.' I won't post this business's webpage because it might seem like I was ad-spamming. Surf for it. Their site does have creepy pix of some of the vermin its teams have ousted. To allude to or segue back to politics after referencing an extermination operation would be um.. inappropriate? ;-)
Obama Outhouse Featured at Montana GOP Convention over the weekend. Here's a link to the story at DailyKos:
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/06/17/1100730/-Obama-Outhouse-Featured-at-Montana-GOP-Convention?detail=hide
The Obama Presidential Library Outhouse was on display in the parking lot outside the convention hotel, filled with fake bullet holes and graffiti with "For a good time call Michelle, Hillary and Nancy Pelosi."
War on women anyone? No one with the MT GOP has condemned this stuff, though the state party chair called it "in poor taste."
The outhouse part is fair comment, though crude. I felt the same way about W. The bullet holes, and the Michelle-Hillary graffiti are deplorable, but you can't be surprised. If you hate the president for reasons that you dare not utter, and can't intelligently criticize his policies (or much else), bathroom humor and thinly disguised racism is all you have to fall back on.
As for Mitt, he's afraid to speak clearly about the President's immigration policy (see above, and my comment below). If a reporter were to ask him about the outhouse display, he'd probably note that the state party chair condemned it, letting the chair take the heat without condemning it himself.

Re: Mitt's refusal to answer: People have a Fifth Amendment right to refuse to answer ONLY when they're suspects/defendants in a criminal proceeding. A presidential candidate does not have this option, and his refusal to answer may and should be used against him. Spewing non-responsive and meaningless verbiage after someone poses a question to you is refusal to answer. Bottom line: Mitt is conceding that the President's policy is sound, but he can't bring himself to say it.

Mitt Romney is going around telling people to ask their neighbors if their life has gotten better in the past three or four years, a better question would be if they have now been able to leave their relatives home since his party was responsible for thousands of people losing their home and resorting in shame to seek help from relatives.
Good morning, TRMS peeps! June 23rd would have been Alan Turing's 100th birthday. May I suggest Turing as a possible "geeks we love" segment? Recall that Turing was instrumental in breaking the Germans' WWII Enigma code that turned the tide in the Allies' favor. Turing was later prosecuted for being gay, a fate that prompted his suicide. Speaking of Rachel...is she back tonight? Oh please please please say yes! Craving witty, well-researched political commentary with that Maddow twist (no offense, Ezra. You did an awesome job last week).
So...are you well and accounted for tonight, Dr. Maddow? Please don't make us wait until tonight to hear the (good, I hope) news!!!!
I;m sad about Rodney King. I read his book, The Riot Within, about his personal demons with alcohol and violent behavior. As a recovering alcoholic myself, I totally related. He stood for the racial inequality that exists in our system and how to forgive others and try to overcome. His death by accident reminded me not to take a drink because, by the grace of God, there go I, but also, how much people like him mean to society.
