Today's guests:
- Frank Rich, writer-at-large for New York Magazine
- Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, (D-FL), chair of the Democratic National Committee
- Paul Krugman, Nobel prize-winning economist, columnist for the New York Times and author of “End This Depression Now!”
Here's executive producer Bill Wolff with a look at what's to be covered. (Fire up the audio for the musical accompaniment -and happy birthday Mrs. Wolff!)

Great, no prison tonight. GREAT TO HAVE YOUO BACK
Frank Rich, Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Paul Krugman.....
wow....is it possible to get any harder left than that???
Karl Marx, Jesus, Al Gore?
Rachael...it IS good to have you back...but I also want to give your replacements five stars!
Now...Regarding your story (June 18th) on the GOP Convention in Montana and the “outhouse”...I couldn’t wait...I had to comment right away:
I loved it! These Republicans built the only structure they're familiar with...and now, whenever I see an outhouse, I'll think of Mitt Romney! Nice goin' Montana GOP! You've given me one more reason to remind me that the Republican Party is nothing more than another definition of the expression "#2"!
This nation is falling apart, We need to change , the community organizer can not get a second term , He is way over his head , you need to report facts , not just spin.
Hey Darlin'. We missed you and hope all is well, and we 'preciate the fine job you do. When some of this politics dies down in 7 months or so, you might want to be ready to roll on a story about the potential of Thorium based nuclear reactors. Even Stewart Brand is in favor of 'em . Love and blessings from Tru Luv Flo. :)
First and formost, you and I would have to fight over who wins Debbie Wasserman Schultz's heart....just kidding.
However, I would like to be referred to your or others direct question to her and her answer for why Wisconson's recall election occured without her or other's national Democrats support and attention.
I am there 100% for the re-election of our President and hopefully improvements in the houses of congress.
Thank you,
Rose
What does Krugman think this economy would look like if not for the Clinton 1996 Welfare Reform Act and 1999 Citicorp Relief Act?
I, too, am glad you are back, but when I see a line-up of guests like tonight's, I really don't need the outhouse story or Peed/Kreep story, especially when they've both been covered on many MSNBC programs already. Do you guys ever watch each other so stories are not overly covered? I would have preferred more hard-hitting questions to both Debbie and Paul, like is the 50 state strategy still in play for Congress and the Presidency, what kind of advertising is the DNC going to do/are doing now, who is constantly speaking to support the President's accomplishments? For Paul, what should Bernanke and the Fed do this week? How long will Europe's austerity/banking crisis cast a shadow over our economy? What would Paul advise the President to do to circumvent Congress to get demand moving again, infrastructure projects off the ground? etc. I found myself wishing you had lead a panel discussion w/ all three guests, a la Chris Hayes, for a good 20 minutes or so to get their ideas, opinions, and experience on the record. The Krugman interview especially needed more length; the breadth would come naturally. Sorry you haven't felt well.
Missed your first broadcast, can't wait for the 9pm PDT replay. I missed you!
Very glad to see you back, Rachel!
Outhouses?? THAT'S Romney's shovel ready jobs plan?!!
I realize the Republicans have repeatedly blocked the President's jobs plan via infrastructure investment, and Romney has stated he opposes foundational America investment... but, OUTHOUSES? -This can't be good.
Too bad. Missoula is generally a great place to work and vacation; known for their pragmatic long term community development planning, and fine civil engineering. I must go meditate for them...
phewwww you're back :)
YAY!! Rachel is back!! and don't mess with nuns!
This sort of behavior is so barbaric, and "for a good time call"? it's so parallel to their anti-women theme. Not shocking. Their base is made up of mental babies.
