Rachel did a great job as usual on her show tonight. She is helping us to get into focus what the right wing Fox crowd is doing regarding Fast and Furious: Proliferate their delusions and paranoia through the Fox echo chamber. As Rachel said, let's see if the traditional media picks up Fox's meme and increases the echo effect.

Rachel also did a great job of explicating the Ron Paul phenomenon of taking over different state republican parties. Rachel's interview with Nicolle Wallace was outstanding; Nicolle Wallace seemed to be saying that the republican party at the state level didn't really matter, that all it did was provide an outlet for republican activists' expression but nothing more impactful than that. I guess this is what a plutocracy looks like.

Rachel's question to Jonathan Capeheart about whether or not the republicans would play ball with Barack Obama now given how seemingly cornered the republicans are in regard to immigration for example, that question made me think about how naive we would be to think that the republicans would work cooperatively with Obama now or ever. I think Rachel is feeling that way too and that's why she asked it.

Thank you Rachel for your courage in the face of the delusions, paranoia, irrationality and inhumanity of the republican party. Keep fighting the good fight. We need your intelligence and leadership to help us navigate these very difficult waters.

Rachel, we should add "Foxified" into the lexicon to describe any new organization that falls for Fox conspiracy theories. If the term (or something similar) becomes as widespread as OMG or LOL, news organizations will take care not to have the label pinned on them as though someone placed a dunce cap on their head and sent them to the corner.

Fast and Furious, huh? That WAS instituted by Bush/Cheney, right? Hey, what happened with all those Mexican Special Drug Agents who were armed and financed by George W. and then started working for the Drug Trafficers? What about those two Federal Air Marshalls who were caught smuggling cocaine? Did Issa or anyone in the Republican Corporate Ho Party investigate ANYTHING during Bush/Cheney?

Funny but I didn’t see any Issa hearings after 175,000 weapons turned up missing in Iraq during the Bush/Cheney disaster. By the way, wasn’t Darrell Issa a car thief? What a bunch of shameless hypocrites. It seems the real crooks are politicHo’s making laws to protect themselves from being prosecuted for the 100’s of crimes elected officials have committed since 2000.

What about those Capos in the Supreme Court legislating “Citizens United” from the bench? Americans haven’t had a Court this criminal since the McCarthy Era. Supreme Court appointments are an important factor when picking Presidents, one more Conservative Justice and the USA is f***ed!

Rachel I must say thank you for giving your guest Jonathan Capehart the respect he deserves and allowing him on your show. I went to high school with him and he is a excellent writer. Onto another note....I can tell you are drinking the "Obama Kool Aid" as in regards to immigration why don't you Liberals understand the meaning of the word "illegal" in "illegal immagrant"? As per Websters Dictionary the meaning of the word "illegal" is

Why is it that I can hear more about the Fast & Furious controversy from watching the Daily Show than I can from watching Rachel Maddow? TRMS treats the whole thing as just another crazy right-wing conspiracy theory. Sure, it's that ... but there's a substantive issue here that has nothing to do with that conspiracy nonsense. And TRMs is ignoring it.

So Rachel declares this is a "test" for mainstream news. I think it's also a test for TRMS: will you dare to talk about the real scandal of F&F, or just keep ignoring it?

Yeah, Bush started it, and Obama continued it. But wasn't Obama supposed to look critically at what his predecessor did, and make changes accordingly? And hasn't this administration been desperately trying to cover up their massive screw-up on this issue? For god's sake, they lost 2000 guns!!

Now I see why Jon Stewart was right, and Rachel was wrong, in that great interview she did with him a few years ago. No, TRMS/MSNBC are not Fox, not by a mile ... but TRMS does distort the truth to suit its agenda. Sad, but true.
