So Rupert (Arrrrr!) is thinking about splitting off the publishing part of Newscorp to "improve shareholder value"? Poppycock, just like when a business says sudden changes are "to serve you better".
The move, if made, will be to protect the non-publishing assets (which are the real cash cows) from liability from Hacking-gate.

In all fairness I just wanted to let people know that there is a Senator holding court for himself on CSPAN right now defending his right to invest money or he is defending the accusation of inside information. I believe he is using the tax payers money to defend himself, he should be writing the paper a letter now wasting taxpayers money for his own selfish gain.
