Could we maybe get some commentary on why iowa got obama elected in 2008 , and why he is struggling there now? You could apply this to other states also , Obama ran to the left of hilary and edwards here in 2008 , he talked like FDR , was pro worker and anti wall st corrution , and used a lot of fighting words

It all went sour here when he disappeared on healthcare reform , everyone here was asking what happened to the guy we voted for ? I know some independent thinkers are going to romney , but what is missing here is enthusiasum on the dem side , and I do not blame them ... I cut obama slack because of everything he has taken on , but there is a lot he just refuses to fight for...People did not expect to see him become clinton light part 3 , while reading a reagan book

My point here is that I will venture to guess this will be a low turn out election , , and this is on the dems heads , imo if obama had fought for what he campaigned on , romney would not even be close in the polls , he smacked mccain and govenor skank , if dems actually governed like dems , we would be rolling over them
