Doctor Maddow is a much better thespian than Kent Jones.
So...is Doctor Maddow, alias "The Catbird," going to declare herself a member of the Green or Libertartian party now that she has declared, on the Bill Maher program, that she is not a Democrat? Does she fit in any political party or is she simply a free agent? We know Maddow isn't a Democrat,, and that is all we know at this point. She hasn't ruled out any other possibility. She quipped that she is "Left of Mao" so is she a Communist? Will she come out as a Socialist? Independent? Is she simply a free range critic and Catbird....... or does she show any allegiance to any party? Maybe she just belongs to the "Definetely Not a Democrat" Party, because as she finally stated, Dude, she's not a Democrat. The one thing we know is that she'll never again be able to get all dressed up in her "disgruntled Democrat" costume. She shredded that disguise and now the talk show host has no clothes. She's naked. She's "The Naked Catbird" and the leader of "The Naked Catbird Society." Gobama 2012!
Does it matter?
Ultimately, the only thing that counts is whether you believe her (reporting) or not.

It matters in that Maddow has revealed herself as a fake. It matters.
Given that Colorado Springs is the "New Jerusalem" of the Xtian Right, perhaps God is showing how pissed off he is at them for misappropriating the word Christian? He's giving them a foretaste of what they can expect in the afterlife.
When the Greens actually get serious people running for office, rather than bad jokes like Roseanne Barr, I will take them seriously.
If you were to have a serious Green Party, then you'd probably take votes from the Democratic Party, dividing their voter base, and give an already galvanized Republican/Conservatives vote block even more solidarity.
No, what Roseanne should've done was run seriously as a Republican/Conservative in order to siphon off votes from that side of the fences.
As it is now, it's better that she not be taken seriously.
