I am so glad your substitute exposed the probation function of holding probationers captive due to fines that cannot be paid. I have seen all kinds of such strategies to keep the underclass where they are, having worked with probation for 20 years and prisons for 5. I know of a court administrator who 'retired' and started a state system of collections and additional fees. Then there are the drug screening kickbacks, grant scams for alleged intervention for high profile young offenders, then there are grants awarded to programs, like jobs, that do nothing. This is totally disgusting. I could go on. I tried to leak, they didn't want to hear.
On the subject of HIT shows.. The Cycle? Sounds more like a monthly then a weekly let alone a day by day.. ; ] Not to sound so under done but in fact the show needs a clean up. Its a vacuum.. [for those with deep thinking minds]
I find it all over the place and rarely good scratch that NEVER good. And the red head really? She is as clueless as you'd hoped shed be. I say this due to the appearance of Mr. Cornacky and Ezra saying "Hit Show".. But its not. Simply awful. Now you know I am rarely so involved in negativity or attacking a show as I love many..
But the four Horsemen of there own Apocalypse should be relegated back to contributors and contributors alone. They have not the pizazz for the day time level and four of them together proves as much. Not one of them was qualified enough to hold there own spot not even on a Saturday morning. So please, end this before it has gone on long enough. ; ]

Ezra Klein is a GREAT guest and an even better host! He is very smart, and has great ideas. Loved the "Listen to Mitch McConnell" piece, as I have always been surprised by how weirdly honest the guy is about his motives. Then to thread that through the voter id clips "we passed voter id in Pennsylvania so Romney could win". OOPS, thought it was about voter fraud.
But also, Ezra is cute as a button in an accessible nerdy kind of way. It makes him great at driving home the factual points.
About the stupid Romney pseudo-Venn diagrams: shouldn't Ezra have talked about how the factual claims behind the health insurance cost chart are lies? Some guy at the Post gave it "4 pinocchios" yesterday, which I think means, "No effin' way, you twit!"
I wish some group or the individuals themselves would start sueing in civil court over these lies. Libel/slander do attempt to cause very real damages, not only against the defamed person's potential income, but against the integrity of the political system.
I think it is probably a lie that our court systems are overloaded, and if true it is with idiot/malicious B.S.to take money from the poor so social workers/courts/jails can claim heavy case loads.
If liars were prosecuted, I understand that the lying will just get a little more sophisticated, but that will take away it's success. It would certainly be much harder to lie about a person's record, which leaves speculative lies about a victim's future i.g. Obama is going to socialize the country/take away our guuns/take all the water out of the oceans and give it to the martians/etc. Even then some watchdog group could sue the perp upon the day after Obama leaves office or the day after he dies of old age..
Integrity.

OMG, I was just going to pick out a few highlights to counter Mitch McConnell's very singular personally beneficial goal, but hell, look at this list of things our President has accumulated.
This is the president the Republicans say can't run on his record?
This is the working president the Republicans don't want in office?
This is the man the right hates because he's working for the people, instead of for them?
This is the man that the media tarnishes daily in the public eye, least we ever suspect that Obama has worked hard to give back to America everything the Republicans want to strip from her?
it's a good thing so many folks never ask what their president has done for them, because they might accidentally find out.
