Michele Bachmann's former campaign chief: "I am fully aware that she sometimes has difficulty with her facts."
Not-awesome bug news.

Re: Ed Rollins - I just recently moved out of Bachmann's district after about 5 years. A number of her supporters I've known in the district also have a problem with facts. This isn't news, Ed:/
Bachmann? Difficulty with facts? I never would have guesssed that. I thought it was called LYING!
Listen to her talk. She's not lying exactly. She fervently believes the things she's saying. Bat@!$%# crazy is more like it.
Not lying exactly? Her staff knows it is untrue. She KNOWS it is untrue, but says it anyway, so it is a LIE! Typical Tea Party BS, say it long enough and loud enough, it must be true. We all need a lesson in McCarthy-ism. Not half truth, not partially truthful, a bald faced lie.
Bachmann, is one big "Nut" How did she get where she is? Lying, and scaring good people.
The batman saga continues . . . . http://veracitystew.com/2012/07/18/bane-bain-and-the-insane/
1. Gov. Rick Scott should just come out and call his
pogromprogram a purge of Democrats. Mississippians were candid about their TRAP legislation. Why not spread the southern hospitality?2. Dems shouldn't press tax-disclosure legislation. Mitt will call it a partisan witch hunt, portray himself as victim, and then crusade against the bill itself. Right now, he's just stewing in his own juices. It's better that way.
3. Can you use a Michigan driver's license to comply with Michigan voter ID laws? Can you use it to buy guns in Michigan? I want to say it can't get any crazier, but I'm afraid it will, and it scares me.
4. I agree more with TexasPhantom than I do with ogrover. If she said any of these things under oath, she'd be her own insanity defense against charges of perjury. She needs an in-patient setting.
What is hilarious is, whatever Romney has produced in his political career, will always be derided. He will be remembered as the guy who brought universal health care to Massachusetts and later fought fervently against it for the nation. Then every 4 years he will be mentioned as the candidate that refused to release his federal taxes. Very little else will be mentioned. Sorry, it will be mentioned he was Mormon and had great hair.
Miss Bachmann, sadly, continues to demonstrate her lack of knowledge, her bigotry, her racism and - most glaringly - her lack of intelligence. I am mystified as to how such individuals are elected in the first place. But, even more disturbing, the Republican Party has become a cesspool of bigots and racists bent on removing our President at any cost, by any means necessary.
The GOP has fallen off the cliff and, finally, hit bottom.
And the sad part is they are proud of it.
SC not a political institution? Since when? Then why is it that Thomas won't hire only teapubs?
Scalia is as bad as a criminal. Every time he opens his mouth, the same story gets told another way.
I need some coffee.
Bachmann is married to a gay! She is oblivious alright. She should spend her time more wisely, like reading and finding herself a STR8 man and stop focusing so much time on talking smack about Muslims and coming up with crazy conspiracies!
In response, I feel must quote the esteemed legal scholar, Stephanie Miller:
Not political? "The Supreme Court follows the election returns." h/t Mr. Dooley/Finley Peter Dunne. Of course, sometimes it overrules them - cough_Bush v Gore_cough. I've heard before that some studies, as observed by the carelessly rationalizing Justice Scalia, claim that Bush would have won Florida anyway had the vote count been continued. I would simply observe that other (better) studies suggest the opposite. All of which entirely leaves aside the question of the enormous amount of voter caging/suppression which occurred in Florida that year, the strategic lack of voting machines in certain districts leading to long lines and lost votes, etc. etc. etc. But what the heck - every vote is only sacrosanct when you're trying to justify voter "
integrity" suppressionplansschemes. Otherwise, "get over it", right? What an ass.Don't like to cry over spilled milk but how much revenue has the govt. lost due to the changes in the inheritance tax law and the Bush tax cut to the wealthy? So we borrow money to insure the super wealthy stay super wealthy and everything else tumbles down around us? What don't people get? Blame it on the President of course.
I find it an interesting (and possible conflicting) messaging when MSNBC airs ads from the Republican National Committee (www.gop.com) during their commercial breaks. The latest one is this ad, most recently seen during today's The Cycle:
http://news.yahoo.com/rnc-ad-ok-change-white-house-155832336.html
(I'd post a video link, but I'm unable to find one at this time. Peculiar.)
It doesn't look like a locally aired spot (which would be traced to Comcast), so the possibility that it's a national (sold by MSNBC) ad is intriguing. While news sources say this is being broadcast in battleground states, I'm able to see it in a non-battleground state.
Does this play up the notion that MSNBC isn't as extreme as Fox News? That not only does MSNBC allow a platform for Republican (Morning Joe) and independent views (prior Dylan Ratigan) voices, but is willing to profit off them? That shows such as The Cycle with S. E. Cupp opens the doors to business with "the other side"? Does this undermine the more Liberal and Independent show hosts?
It's so odd to see such ads on MSNBC, and just as abrupt as Maddow's Friday night sign off nods to "Going to Jail" (which are hilarious, please keep doing that, because the transition is just absurd).
I'm looking for pro-Obama, Liberal, and Democratic ads on Fox (Faux) News, but not expecting any. If any one has seen any, please let me know. I believe Media Matters was able to get one broadcast, but that's it:
