I get it! I'm supposed to listen and read all of the regurgitated nonsense over and over, and that will make me believe it? Really?

There comes a time when it does not matter who says anything politically, makes any

difference to anyone. The very tired ears of the voting citizenry just won’t listen anymore and totally will ignore the avalanche of propaganda spouted from the talking heads, special interest

fowled breath.

The public is exhausted by the hyperbole and vitriol, spewed over and over by the so called conservative news media, paid TV and Press prostitutes.

The noise of it all only serves a purpose; to stop you from thinking about the issues that really matter and keep you looking the opposite way from where important ideasand solutions that demand attention are.

This is truly an insult to the intelligence, a naked aggression to common sense of the highest contempt.

An extremely well organized confusion is focused on you, the voter, a small group of oligarchs, using new and expensive legal ways called packs, that as the name implies, it conjures images of wolves circling around you and me for the kill.

Designed to allow the very wealthy to buy the media and influence, to corrupt the congress of the United States and to abolish our democracy and freedom. Are we going to allow this to happen?

This is an affront to usurp the rights of the American people. To stop you from realizing your American dream and imposing their version on you, they will lie and lay with their own mothers.

Now the way I see it, is a numbers game, and in the definition of Democracy you as the majority have the right and obligation to apply it not just in words but in deeds.

They say that the Federal government has to nmuch power and must be restrained, cut to size,

eliminated or reduced in some way or another, but looking at the other side of the coin.

I see to much power concentrated at the top 1%, of the wealthy, greedy, financial cronies. Why must we allow them to rule us without consent or representation? Hell no. We wont!

The reality is that we the people, do elect the federal government to exercise power on our behalf and we can be correct or change it when needed.

We are the federal Government!

The power of the wealthy over the middle class and the poor is not legitimate, their privilege is a gift from the good will and fairness of our people and institutions

given to them as a shared responsibility to administer on behalf of the country's benefit, paid by the majority of our citizens in priceless treasure, who's blood and guts are the required measure of what is the real wealth and what it cost. Banks are not a governmental body, nor accountable to anyone and definitely not elected by anyone to rule over everyone!

We allow wealth to accumulate to such disproportionately levels, that it distort and eventually may destroy the very fabric of our society, we makes this possible and it makes those who accumulate it, think that we are not necessarily relevant, that we are over population and we perhaps should not be here! Be ware, rich and poor, we are all population!

Rich or poor we are not going any where!

We have been here before and do recognize this for what it is. It is the the same worn out game, the same worn out folks that give us a crashed

economy instead of prosperity for all, and for the last 30 years have intentionally waged war on the working class people of this great country, they are the traitors, the thieves of our prosperity.

They now threatens to us with the "new normal", those same people that would diminish our future

and that of our children, the same group that call you and categorize you with words that end in "ist" as in socialist, communist, terrorist, humanist, now pretend to rule over us, why should we let them?

To whom the shoe fits, wear it.

Those who continue the assault our economic well being and who abuse our good faith, to you I say; you are playing with fire! Ignore us at your own peril.

The common sense, goodness and decency of the American people, will not be abused by a few, and they are gravelly mistaken to believe that they can get away with such callous disrespect to our collective intelligence.

For this attempt on our liberty, there will be a heavy price to pay. Exerting civil duty is no vice and is our constitutional right; to vote is sacred and nonnegotiable, never, no way, shape or form.

We will fight and die to preserve our rights!

The plans of the 1% to control the 99% rest of us, politically, economically or demagogically

will not work. We lived the American Dream and having tasted the fruit of our labor, "We the people of the United States of America will not go down without a fight".

So better to heed this advice, let democracy do what its supposed to do, our liberty and freedom is sacred, don't mess the economy! and we will all be happy!

I had a dream last night that there were billboards put up all over St. Louis of Mitch McConnell. The caption read... "First we get rid of Obama. Then we'll get rid of the poor, the sick and the helpless. God Bless America and the wealthy!"

Sergio Lorenz, you nailed it! We, the People, need to get our heads out of whatever media distractor is being presented to us, stop being spoonfed by the "news" feeds, and start using our heads again. Ignorance of the laws of this land, ignorance of the history of this land, ignorance of basic economics...those are things that are leading to this type of discourse. While this is not a democracy, it is a democratic republic. Still, those people we have elected are not representing the will and desires of their constituency, but some grand scheme at Party levels. I say we just stop what we are doing, and bust them HARD, then vote with our feet right to the poll, and get them out of office by voting FOR someone who will represent us. Voting AGAINST someone gets us to the point where we are now...with idiots who do spew rhetoric and outright blatant lies continually. For those corporations who are sponsoring, by the billions of dollars in some cases, vote with our hard earned dollars and quit using their products. After all, it is still our dollars they are using to fund those idiot puppets. It's time to get together, all of us who are thinking and watching and listening to this never-ending crap, to just do something about it. Start voting for real change, and get these raging fools out of office so those changes can start being put in place. We've floundered long enough.

There was a retired Republican congressman from Texas on CNN this morning who was making a prophylactic attack on gun control and its advocates. The theme this time seems to be "Cars kill more people than guns. Are we going to ban cars?" The NRA and its supporters are all over Facebook and the news blathering on.

I'm glad to be living in NJ where assault weapons are banned. Of course my neighbor thinks the "blue helmets" (UN peacekeeping forces) are going to come to his house and confiscate his weapons, apparently a theme he's heard on Fox News derived from a misunderstanding of the UN's Arms Trade Treaty that is currently being debated in New York. There are actually myth buster postings online to defuse this rumor, but the extreme right continues to sow fear among gun advocates. What a mess.
