I find myself wondering if anyone else thinks the perfect theme song for the Romney campaign might be the Beetle's "Nowhere Man". Just review the lyrics, I'm just saying....
He's a real nowhere man,
Sitting in his Nowhere Land,
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.
Doesn't have a point of view,
Knows not where he's going to,
Isn't he a bit like you and me?
Nowhere Man please listen,
You don't know what you're missing,
Nowhere Man,the world is at your command!
He's as blind as he can be,
Just sees what he wants to see,
Nowhere Man can you see me at all?
Nowhere Man, don't worry,
Take your time, don't hurry,
Leave it all till somebody else
lends you a hand!
Doesn't have a point of view,
Knows not where he's going to,
Isn't he a bit like you and me?
Nowhere Man please listen,
you don't know what you're missing
Nowhere Man, the world is at your command!
He's a real Nowhere Man,
Sitting in his Nowhere Land,
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody.
Making all his nowhere plans
for nobody!
JD-- that fits Robme just neatly and true. How about suggesting someone put a cork down his throat and seal with gorilla glue.
Smile and think about Simon and Garfunkle's-Richard Cory--"So my mind was filled with wonder when the evening headlines read:
"Richard
Cory went home last night and put a bullet through his head."
Paul,
Actually, I think Simon and Garfield's song "The Sounds of Silence" would be a more fitting theme song for Romney. Nobody knows who he is, they are just praying to their "neon god"!
Nobody knows much about his extremely secretive religion and he won't talk about it.
Nobody knows much about what his policies would be and he won't talk about it.
Nobody knows much about what he did as Governor of Massachusetts and he destroyed all records and won't talk about it.
Nobody knows much about what he did at Bain and he won't talk about it.
Nobody knows much about what he did at the 2002 Olympics (records are destroyed, Romney "claims" he had nothing to do with it) and he won't talk about it
Nobody knows much about his finances and he won't talk about it.
Now, he doesn't want us knowing what his foreign policy with Israel will be and he wants to keep it secret:

No.
Where is Rachel anyway lately? It seems like shes off more than shes on. I hope everythings OK, but really, no one can replace her!
Yeah it's hard getting another talking head on short notice............

"Devoid of charm, warmth, humor or sincerity". The British press was kind to Mitt. Nothing about being a bully, liar, spineless or greedy was mentioned. All credit due though, pretty good insight for just a couple of days.
So here we have Romney getting hammered for acting like a CEO, while Obama is feted for institutionalizing the educational failure of black culture, given money for saying nice things to gay people, even as this blog celebrates naked men walking around in a city where the subway escalators are breaking down because of human feces. Meanwhile it seems Christians aren't allowed to do business in certain cities.
Really? This is the kind of world you folks want? No, thank you.
Shooter,
Really, is THAT what CEO's do? Go to Great Britain and insult his hosts? Then twist on a dime and become a sycophant? Can't wait to see what he does in Isreal!!!
You need to provide links for the rest of your usual rants, but of course, you won't do that or you will run back to Fox (like Romney) for them to put words in your mouth.
What cities ban "Christians"???? Aren't you confusing Christians with Muslims? Oh, you mean Chik-fil-a? Oh, so you mean a company that "CLAIMS" to be Christian without following the tenets of Jesus? So you are talking about cities banning "false Christians"?
Shooter, you are just too much fun. I should just repost the comments you made about purposely trolling sites like these, but frankly I kind of enjoy having you here!!!! You are such a GOOD representative of what is wrong in this country!!!
Now Now Shooter, your forgetting, when Romney is at the Olympics he isn't a CEO...retroactively speaking that is.
Romney, although very lifelike, at least in public, falls somewhere short of being a complete person.

Well now that Mitt has decided that Israel is a way to gain support from the Jewish sector he seems to be saying he will gladly send your kids to fight in Iran and perhaps even fight to get rid of Palestinians. Seems he thinks such bull will make him popular among the hawks and Jewish community. I wonder...
You better be sitting down to read this but I just saw a news report of Romney's visit to Israel where he was giving a speech with, wait for it... a teleprompter!!! This... THIS is an outrage!! Republicans unite and demand of the Romney campaign that he cease the use of teleprompters immediately! Teleprompters are now only allowed for Democratic speeches to insure the conveyance of intelligent and complete thoughts and ideas - something "foreign" to Republicans and their mocking of President Obama's use of a teleprompter (that all presidents have used since at least the Kennedy administration!).
You forget that GW was fed lines through a radio. He was illiterate you know.
