Gobama 2012!
Ugh...Steve King makes me ashamed to say I'm from Iowa. How does one go about declaring their lot as an autonomous country?

He's a disgusting bully and sadly a classic Tea Party representative.
I really wish that we could have had the Republican Party find a REAL viable, untainted, intelligent, NOT uber-wealthy, honest, moderate that could represent the party well. This joker is making the whole party look like its an evil brotherhood against the rest of humanity. Shred that woman down to find the truth, Ms. Maddox. The devil we don't know is far worse than the devil we do, and this Mittens person is now trying to hide behind the skirts of ... well... I can't think of a feminine nomer for something worse than a devil right now. But there she is!
Ain't it precious how hard he is trying to garner the garter vote even as he and his party wage war on women's rights?
It seems we have a choice between a candidate that hires people to make what they have done look not so bad, and one that can openly brag about what they have accomplished.
Even now, though, Mittens is not radical enough.

Jon Houseman came close and look what happened to him. Moderate Republicans are like dinosaurs and soon will be extinct.
MeThree
I think you mean Jon Huntsman. John Houseman was an actor who couldn't have run for president because he was born in Romania. And also because he is dead.

Hehehe, +1 to Maria!
That comment starts my day on the right track.
What is it about America and it's short term memory these days? Romney's campaign is overflowing with former Bush administration hacks. Remember Bush? Dubious elections, de-regulation to the point of economic melt down, bailouts that paid for millions in bonuses to the very institutions that caused the failure, two un-funded wars with no resolutions, a housing market in shambles, trickledown economics (oh yeah, that works if the trickle goes to the Cayman's and Switzerland), on and on and on. If Bush 1.0 and 2.0 doesn't scare you then Bush/Romney 2.5 just might.
That nut case that said the world would end was correct-our souls were carried off and only empty shells remain. Join the new Zombie Party and fight for the right to be buried!
Steve King makes idiots look good. Birthers are racists, plain and simple. People can chose to fight, dogs cannot. Doesn't he know that? Obviously, he knows very little to nothing.
it's all just poop!
Maybe they could turn it into a jobs bill by paying people to sand "E pluribus unum" off all the quarters.
Another example of MSNBC not wanting me to see snippets of the Olympics unless I want to pay. Well, I don't
Looks like they are going to have to fire all the air traffic controllers....again.
I can't believe they are finally showing dressage on the Olympic coverage. I kinda doubt they would if Willard didn't have a horse in the race, but I enjoyed it and yes, enjoyed watching Rafalca. It's nice to watch something besides the standard fare of gymnastics, swimming, volleyball and track and field.
There will be no jobs, jobs, jobs from the Republican house. In their own words the government does not create jobs. So from January to December it is the "silly season" in Congress and they work "hard" to pass abortion bills, official language bills and post office naming bills while the country goes to h**l in a hand basket. If they control the senate after the next election just put your head between your knees and kiss you a** good-by.
Can't watch Rafalca. Site owner has limited access.
Gee, Scott Brown is one of the lucky ones. He entered the National Guard in 1979. He has, never, as far as I can see been to a combat zone although he may have served in Germany for a while. He gets promoted while other members of the National Guard since 2003 have given their lives in two wars. He must be so proud of his accomplishments.
Look at the bright side. How would you like to be seving in a war zone and have him as your commanding officer? You'd be risking your life while he had secret meetings with kings and queens.
I read that Chick-fil-A gave money to support the Uganda "Kill the Gays" bill.
Anyone know if this is true, and what is the source? If this were to be true, it is something that might make people stop and think. I said, "might."
Just fyi - Rachel mentioned "Libyan rebels in Syria" last night. I never miss a show!
I think Chick-fil-A has the malice, but there's no payoff. If they funneled money into Uganda, they'd bribe local officials for commercial advantage, not ideology. Cathy said what he said because he thought it would make money for him, and it looks like he might be correct.
