Today's installment of campaign-related news items that won't necessarily generate a post of their own, but may be of interest to political observers:
* This week, the combined forces behind Mitt Romney are outspending the combined forces supporting President Obama by a nearly 2-to-1 margin, $25 million to $14 million.
* Prorities USA Action, the pro-Obama super PAC, hopes to narrow the gap in the fall, has reserved $30 million in airtime in six key swing states in Iowa, Florida, Colorado, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
* In Massachusetts, Elizabeth Warren's newest ad stresses the under-appreciated importance of infrastructure investments.
* The U.S. Senate race in Arizona may prove to be one of the more interesting contests of 2012, and PPP now shows Richard Carmona (D) and Rep. Jeff Flake (R) all tied up.
* In an interesting twist in Florida politics, former Florida Gov. Charlie Crist hasn't just endorsed Sen. Bill Nelson's (D-Fla.) re-election, he's also helping the Democrat raise money.
* On a related note, while some polling shows Nelson with a comfortable lead, the latest PPP survey shows the incumbent's margin over Rep. Connie Mack IV (R) at just two points.
* Former half-term Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) is getting increasingly involved in the U.S. Senate Republican primary in Missouri, appearing in ads and robocalls in support of Sarah Steelman.
* With time running out in Michigan, the latest EPIC-MRA poll shows former Rep. Pete Hoekstra well positioned to win the Republican nod in the U.S. Senate primary.
* Tip for campaign trackers everywhere: if you're paid to follow a candidate, make sure it's the right candidate, and not someone who kinda looks like your target.

Yea Elizabeth, let's go to work!
Oh and, Die Sarah Palin, Die!
We had 3 water main breaks in Philadelphia in the month of July.
Palin is just confused....... she heard "sarah" thought she was actually running for the seat herself...
We started seeing the Warren ads here - frequently - in the last few days. I was pretty wowed by them. Talk about hitting us where it hurts...in our patriotism..."China invests 9% of its GDP in its infrastructure...the US, just 2.4%." Showing us how pathetic we are in comparison. (Not that 9% isn't a little on the crazy high end side.)
This ad is from the political school of 'anything you can do I can better'...WTG Elizabeth!!
I am looking forward to the debates. Scotto won't know what hit him.
I hope Dems throw some serious cash at the Arizona race. That would be a great election day upset.
Ah, yes, Elizabeth "Cherokee Princess" Warren. Liar, fraudster, racist. Great standard bearer for the New England Democrats. First the racist "Dick" Blumenthal in Conn., and now Warren in Mass.
The black-hating white South; the Native-hating white New England. Byrds of a feather.
There is nothing "liberal" about liberals...they demand that you think the way they do and do everything in there power to force you to.
I am conservative and more liberal then they are. I believe everyone has a right to think and feel the way they want to ...as long as it hurts no one else. Cant be more liberal than that. Get rid of the "radical liberals" and let everyone enjoy life.
