How many times did Rachel say "Rick Perry gay" on tonight's show?
Not that she was insinuating anything, of course.
You know, when someone reads something, and utterly misses the point, it's kind of understandable. Honestly, it seems like 75% of people in this country are functionally illiterate, so I'm never surprised.
This post, right here? You took it to a whole new level. You failed to comprehend
1. That Rachel was reporting on something that had been done by a campaign against Rick Perry
2. That she wasn't defending this infantile strategy, but rather disgusted by it, as any sane person would be
3. That the entire point of the segment was that Republicans do this to each other to get people spreading false rumors.
You somehow managed to sit through a five-minute segment, not comprehend even the basic premise of that segment, then come on this blog and righteously proclaim how completely ignorant and devoid of any comprehension skills that you are.
Congratulations. You're Bart Simpson trying to get a cupcake. You're dumber than a hamster. Try not to accidentally hang yourself tying your shoes.
With Kerry Bentivolio winning the Michigan 11th primary, the Dems have a fair chance of snatching a seat away from the GOP. Syed Taj, a physician, will be the Democratic opponent in that race.
Taj is much more centrist than his tea-stained opponent, both in occupational background and in policy matters. With over 40 years in medicine, he seems to have good ideas about making health care more effective and efficient. He also sees opportunities for economic development around that field.
National Dems need to get in there and put enough money into this race to grab this seat.
Absolutely! It wouldn't also wouldn't kill any of the MI-11-obsessed national media folks *coughrachelcough* to mention Dr. Taj's name every once in a while. ;c) Especially if it isn't as much of a shoo-in as it would have been had McCotter made it on the ballot. The 11th district has the makings of DE-Sen & DE-AL from 2010. It'll be like running against Joe Miller without having Lisa Murkowski stealing centrist votes.
Supposedly the Republicans have a "classmate" of Obama's that has all the "dirt" on him. When I watched the segment identifying him, I was shocked to see that it was none other than Wayne Allyn Root.
I didn't even know this guy was still around. Years ago, he did a TV show on USA network discussing betting lines on sporting events. If I remember correctly, he was based in Las Vegas then, and sold information about betting lines to clients.
He is/was a Libertarian (read, Republican without a conscience) candidate for VP. Someone on Rachel's staff might want to check him out. He has a website, www.rootforamerica.com.
If he's a contemporary of Obama's from Columbia, he certainly hasn't aged as well as Obama.
Aww hell, it might come out that Obama got a C in Comparative Religion! Verily, the african is unsuited for the presidency, I say!
I was not surprised by the revelation that fracking was causing earth quakes in Texas. I've been telling people this for a year. Back in 1972 I took a course in seismology. Was even involved in installing the first seismograph station in northern NYS. The correlation between pumping water into the ground a earthquake swarms was already common knowledge. When dams were built in the 40's water from the lakes they produced would seep under ground. The increase in seismic activity was duly noted. You can't tell me they didn't know this was going to happen now.??
What about the Texas execution of the inmate with the 61 I.Q.?
Just... Words lack the capacity to encompass the outrage I feel when outrageous injustices prevail. Why was life in prison not an option? Why can we as a nation kill a child locked away in a man's body? Cruelty has long been a reflection in the mirror of America, I just wonder when Americans are going to finally get sick of what they see staring back. We are better than this.
Having Sandra Fluke introduce Obama at an event is like the republicans trumping out Jimmy Swaggert or Jim Bakker to introduce Romney.
All three are disgraced & pretentious phony's. But they all like sex!
Rush Limbaugh would have been a 1000% correct if he had called Fluke a "Political Sl@t"
Maybe Pelosi's next stupid comment will be that all Americans should wear condoms & use contraceptives because republicans "want you to get e-coli of the crotch".
One incredulous dolt (Pelosi) introduces to America another phony dolt, Sandra Fluke.
And YOU vote for these idiots???
Georgetown University will be a better place once Fluke is gone. But it will take years to repair it's name and reputation. At least however, unlike Fluke, Georgetown HAS a reputation.
Go Hoyas!!!
IrishPat7, as opposed to IrishPat 1 thru 6 is merely another misogynist who's reputation at Georgetown is as another catholic @!$%# unable to get himself laid. I love it when college grads show how little they have learned, and how important it is to demonstrate that ignorance. If you are a product of Georgetown, you've done a wonderful job of diminishing whatever pitiful academic reputation the Hoyas had.
Can you name one single actual, factual, way in which Fluke has hurt Georgetown's reputation? For standing up for women who lost ovaries due to Catholic denial of medical care? Somehow, I see that as more Georgetown's fault than Sandra's. What a tool of the right you are. You need to look past what Limbaugh spews about Sandra "liking sex," he's lying to you and you're sucking it in.
Beter yet, get Terry Lakin to introduce Romney at an event.
Then you'd have a "birther" introducing Romney
and
An anti birther (Fluke) introducing Obama.
Either that or some other sex scandal disgraced Republican (Sanford, Hatfield etc) to introduce Romney while Fluke the fluke intro's Obama.
Nancy Pelosi, the nutjob minority leader, introduces a phony, Sandra Fluke. And you're buying it. Pathetic.
Here's an idea, have that hulk imaged Reid (top half of his body) emerging from either Pelosi's(imagining any one of those goofy faces she makes all the time) or Sandra Fluke's birth canal................ with a warniing:
Contraception can help avoid this end result! Fight the phony War on Women!
Then 100% of america will be pro choice/abotion.
NOT
Irish Pat is a perfect example of the old adage that it is better to keep your mouth shut and let people thing you are an ass rather than open it and remove all doubt.
How appropriate. Maddow has a shuffle of three playing cards in two hands with a caption: Fake my Day. That doinig a story surrrounding a HUGE FAKE, Sandra Fluke!
She's a "wheeler dealer PHONY".
Yes, Sandra Fluke, Fake my Day!
And Rush Limbaugh, bigger, stronger and better than ever. Ditto's to the dud Maddow. Maddow is of all pundits, the Fake of Fakes! Ms Maddow mocks another's "integrity"? Pathetic.
I can understand why IrishPat's sex life is with hookers and life size dolls, no living woman would associate with someone who hates women as much as he does. I wonder how many times IrishPat has been arrested for assaulting women?

Wheaton College (That's Wheaton.edu in IL)
1. Doesn't any one read contracts anymore? Who ever had responsibility over the Benefits department should be severely questioned for not reading the insurance policy they contracted. Their subsequent attempt at revisionism makes them look not only stupid but hypocritical.
2. Wheaton is a college by Christians for Christians - this is clearly stated in their Community Covenant - about 35 things not to engage in - pre-marital sex is one, homosexual behavior is another. Hypocrisy, self-righteousness, and legalism are three more on their list that college administrators should really take a close look at.
http://www.wheaton.edu/about-wheaton/community-covenant
Georgetown University has no moral high ground with their acceptance of sex between unmarried faculty, staff, and students and their support of a GLBTQ university student group and so no claim for "religious protection"
Wheaton could have made a legitimate claim for exemption if they had been bright enough to negotiate an appropriate insurance contract in the first place - now they have made themselves a source of amusement to non-Christians.
Wheaton pro's: Anti-slavery, part of the "underground railroad", consistently supportive of minorities, a highly respected Christian College.
Sad that their administrators waited until now to join the circus - they should have run away from home and got that out of their systems when they were young.
Really nice story. It made me want to know more about who is on welfare, and whether welfare is working. So I looked into it: http://yourbiggirlpants.blogspot.com/2012/08/mitt-romney-yo-momma-is-so-poor.html
