I have yet to find a news station that doesn't have an axe to grind. NPR (yes, NPR) tries, but they can't get past their basic liberal stance. Liberal, as in let's accept others. Like that's a bad thing...
this level of spittle flecked near-rabid religious insanity is what caused a million or so people to be burned alive in medieval Europe. As an individual not associated with any church or religion, I'm more afraid of the evangelical Christians living on my street than Al Qaeda or the Taliban.
And well you should be. They're just as extreme, zealous, relentless, and merciless, and they're close by.

I think the Curiosity one is itself a curiosity: FoxNation hasn't mentioned the Mars mission at all. It's as if they're terrified to admit that America can do great things that don't involve blowing something up, that we can build and create and, as the mission tagline went, "Dare Might Things." (A Roosevelt quote, too!) TownHall hasn't had a peep. The Blaze mentioned it once, as did Drudge. Newsmax had two articles.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the fence, Talking Points Memo, Daily Kos, the Democratic Underground, AmericaBlog, even Think Progress have been unstintingly lavish in their praise of this amazing scientific and engineering achievement.
They, (the other side) are still mulling over whether to claim it is all an elaborate hoax or not. Give em time, Michelle Bachmann is sure to come up with something profound (ly stupid) soon.
