Today's edition of quick hits:
* Some heartening news out of Oak Creek: "The conditions of two of three people wounded during the Sikh Temple shooting in Oak Creek were upgraded at a Milwaukee area hospital. Froedtert Hospital says Oak Creek Police Lt. Brian Murphy is now in satisfactory condition. A man is now in serious condition, while a woman is still in critical condition."
* Also, the Sikh temple is now accessible again: "Four days after a gunman killed six people and critically injured three others at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin, community leaders were allowed Thursday to return to their place of worship."
* Is the momentum in Syria shifting away from the Assad regime? Ambassador Susan Rice believe it is.
* The Komen fallout continues: "Leaders of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation announced Wednesday that they would step down from their roles at the breast cancer charity."
* She's a tough one: "This year, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg continued to work after breaking two ribs during one of the Supreme Court's busiest months."
* Whenever there's election-related fraud, so often, it seems to involve Republicans.
* I've never fully understood why the Washington Post thought it'd be a good idea to publish Jennifer Rubin, but Dan Drezner has spent some time this week reminding the paper that it made a mistake.
* Andrew McCarthy thinks everyone should rally behind Michele Bachmann's anti-Muslim witch hunt. Dana Milbank thinks Andrew McCarthy is nuts.
* And the estimable E.J. Dionne Jr. presents a challenge to the right: "If you truly hate the Affordable Care Act, you must send back any of those rebate checks you receive from your insurance companies thanks to the new law. This is just common sense. If you think free enterprise should be liberated from Washington's interference, what right does Uncle Sam have to tell the insurers they owe you a better deal? Keeping those refunds will make you complicit with Leviathan."
Anything to add? Consider this an open thread.

OMIGOD you have made my day with the post by Dan Drezner. I have often spewed coffee when I am forced to ingest Rubin in the morning but clearly, WAPO doesn't care what I think...maybe they'll listen to Drezner. I am happy.
If the current leadership of the Washington Pest had been in place 40 years ago, Nixon would be President for Eternity.
" I've never fully understood why the Washington Post thought it'd be a good idea to publish Jennifer Rubin, but Dan Drezner has spent some time this week reminding the paper that it made a mistake."
Get in line behind those who have been battling her and emailing about her from her first days. Unfortunately she is the voice of WAPO neocon editor Fred Hiatt, to say the things he can't say under his own by line. She's not going anywhere.
Steve, have you seen this awesome parody of Romney rapping as RMoney yet? It's hilarious!

Great idea E.J.! Ask those who oppose the ACA to put thier money where thier mouth is.
Good grief. That's only one of Rubin's idiotic ramblings. She goes far, far worse than that every single day. That witch can make you think the human race is hopeless. It just doesn't get worse than Rubin.
I want to see Jennifer Rubin's birth certificate, to see if she is really Jewish. All the Jewish women I have been fortunate to know in my life have all been really really sharp, really really smart - smarter than most of the men I have known. She is neither, which leads me to doubt her ethnic bonafides.
So many punchlines, so little time ...
Maybe the two ribs she broke belonged to Roberts.
Well the true Romney shows his face again!
Like insulting the Hors d'oeuvres at an Iowa fundraiser - heh heh heh

E. J. Dionne literally challenges Republicans to put their money where their mouth is. LOL
