Be wary of changing your address online. I am not familiar with Ohio law, but in Indiana, voters must have photo ID and unless the address on your ID matches the address you used to register to vote, you will not be able to cast a ballot.
I heard from a businesswoman today that several of her Republican clients have told her they are holding off from spending until the election is over. She thought it was a fluke, then she heard from another businessman that he had Republican clients who also told him they were holding off spending untill after the election. The idea is that they will hold down the economy so that people will be discouraged and vote Obama out. Is there some Republican conspiracy to do this? I have not heard anything about this before.
I have been suspecting this myself for a while. That, together with the congress inability (albeit voluntary) to do anything about the economy. Doesn't look suspect to you that they keep voting about Obamacare repeal over and over even thought they knew it wasn't going nowhere? Stalling tactics. Like the Scaring tactics that now the owner of Papa John is trying to use to try to skew the election to the republican side by using spurious totally false reporting and telling people that they are going to have to pay more for their stale, unhealthy fast food product because of ObamaCare. Like we should be caring more about our pizza that our health. Republicans have been in concert to try to screw up this presidency like never ever before I seen in my almost 50 years of following politic. They said it themselves the day after they loss the last election. A lot of Corporations are sitting with a lot of money in their pockets waiting while the economy keep growing slowly and the government keep struggling trying to stimulate it. These corporations keep giving the excuse of uncertainty when they are the one creating the uncertainty.

First of all Ms. Rachel, I want to let you know that although this is my very first post in your blog, that you are indeed my top, number one favorite political commentator of them all... I also will like to apologize for what is obviously an "out of today's topic" post. I could not think of any other better way to reach to both you and your audience at the same time with a topic that is very important to me. That established... I'll like to enter a copy of a post I posted in Ms. Greta Van Susteren's blog in response to her interview in today's show with a former TARP Special IRS Inspector General (Mr. Neil Barosky from the NY IRS office, and author of a book called Bailout). He was discussing how hard it was for him to try to prosecute fraudsters in relation to the too big to fail bank scandal of 2008 and TARP. He was being very specific and short of calling the DOJ obstructive :-\ he also went on specifically stating on record that the people that run these big bank corporations are, as their industry motto reads, "too big to do jail time". Here is what I wrote... (Before I do this I want to assure you Ms. Rachel that I am a genuine independent voter and not, to any stretch of my imagination either an extremist rightist or an extremist leftist. Moreover, I am basically mostly a centrist when it comes to most of the top political main issues. But to be fair, I want to state, as I do in all the political blogs that I post to, that this year, so far, for this election year, (and for what I find to be very obvious reasons), I am leaning slightly to the left of Mr. Obama's left side pocket :-). Also, as of why I would try to bother you and ask you to take a look at my post at Greta's blog, the reason is because I think that this is a very important issue, (the banking industry issue), that no one seems to want to touch, much alike the issue with gun control in this country.) Ok... All that said, here is what I posted at the site:
"The IG interview was very telling of what is going on with the banking system in our country. We have been letting them get away with murder for way too long. They all were the architects, the perpetrators and the main cause of why our country went into recession that we are currently in and yet we couldn't let them fall because apparently they are too big for us to let them. The Obama administration, whom inherited the problem when it was still very fresh and totally exposed, they have failed to create and implement the enough necessary regulations to held these big financial corporations accountable. They let them all go with just meaningless and very tepid new regulations and with essentially a small slap in their hand and now they think that they are invincible and that the long arm of the law cannot touch them. Both republicans, who so far have been advocating for less government regulations, and the democrats, with their tepid reactions, are perpetuating the wave of frauds and improprieties cases that keep happening in the industry. We should break every single one of these mammoth corporations into smaller corporations with very specific and limited individual roles in our nation's finance. For example, bankers should not be allowed to invest but just to serve as loan and saving entities and vice-versa. Something must be done with these too big to fail corporate giants before we end up onto a worse situation of what just happened to us in 2008.
Great piece of journalism reporting Ms. Greta. I just hope that you will keep pounding and following up on this issue that is of such importance to our overall financial health. I know that politicians that benefit financially from all these multi-freakonaires they don't want to commit to legislative changes the same way they do with arm dealers and the NRA. But socially responsible journalists should keep pounding these politician to the raw pulp until something meaningful does happens. I, as well as many Americans, I am sure, we all certainly hope that you and all your colleagues in the press take a front-running role with these two issues, the financial industry and the gun industry, and that you could finally put some sense onto our politicians' heads to take serious issues with these two taboo topics that are so essential to the survival and future prosperity of us as the most powerful nation of the world ever."
I hope Ms. Rachel that one day you'll find the time to interview this gentleman, or some other TARP Special IG prosecutor as well, to try to shed some illuminating facts about what is really going on in Wall Street. (hint - I also watch American Greed).

Good News: President in good health. Following his 51st birthday days ago the President under went testing common with "men" his age. It appears his physicians do a much more thorough job in examination and probing to get to the bootm of things than do the mainstream media.
Following his proctologist exam they found all things "normal" with no need for concern. Although there was alarming feature. When the doctor pulled his latex glove off he did explain to President Obama that he did find one odd (not necessarially an abnormality to become concerned about) thing.

Massachusetts, as part of the court-endorsed settlement, took the next obvious step of righting the wrong -- the state began sending out voter-registration paperwork to the thousands of people who applied for social services, but who weren't offered the documents before.
In Scott Brown's mind, this is "outrageous." Why? Because Elizabeth Warren's daughter works with one of the groups that filed the lawsuit against Massachusetts and other states that weren't fully implementing Motor Voter.
And yes, so does Mr Herring. Liz Warren's father work for groups as an activist in a campaign against Scott Brown relative to this case specifically.
Mass settled in the csse. And $276,000.00 was the cost to Mass Tax Payers for the mailiings of the"notices".
You don't see a "conflict of interest". Mass citizans do. They remember Whitey BUlger winning Mass Millions when brother Billy worked as the "speaker oif the House" in Mass. And the corrupt world of Mayor White. etc etc.

Watching an early morning rerun I couldn't understand why you didn't have more concern for on-line change of address in Ohio. It seems like this could be used to change the address of unsuspecting democrats. You show at the pole and can't vote because without you knowledge your address was changed.
This could be potentially catastrophic in Ohio, and for the nation.

Massachusetts, which just sent out voter registration letters to some 500,000 welfare recipients after a lawsuit pushed by New England United for Justice, a reconstituted offshoot of the defunct corrupt voter manipulation group Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN). This is clearly a Democratic get-out-the-vote effort sponsored by Gov. Deval Patrick (D-MA), who is desperately attempting to aid Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren, locked in a neck-and-neck race with Senator Scott Brown (R-MA). NEU4J has coordinated with Demos, a liberal group that has sued several battleground states for similar mailings. And guess who chairs the Demos Foundation, funded by George Soros? One Amelia Warren Tyagi, daughter of Elizabeth Warren. Howie was outraged.

Asked about the "conflict of interest" or integrity of the issue (something Warren seems to know nothing about, integrity) Ms Warren repeatedly answers,
"The state has to be in compliance with the law." at least three times she echoes (something that has become a habit for Ms Warren, speaking in ways in which only her handlers allow) Ms Warren fails to explain then why doesn't the state have to be in compliance with state immigration LAWS?
All in all it amounts to Ms Warren's daughter having filed in May a suit vs Mass that is distinctly on behalf of her own mother's campaign election efforts. Resulting in $276,000.00 being spent by the state of Mass on behalf of Ms Warren's efforts to get elected.
Conflict of interest? YES Corruption? YES unlike Ms Warren you don't need to repeat the same answers over and over. Once should be enough. YES it is corruption. Whitey Bulger and Billy Bulger has nothing on the Warren family, nothing.
In Mass people laugh at Liarwatha Warren. Everyone knows that msnbc is paramount to Warren's HOME tv station because in Mass she can't appear on local tv as she'd be laughed off the stage. She's a fraudulant carpetbagger.

Yesterday it was painful to see all the republicans scrambling for air time, specially in the "fair and balanced" FoxNews network :-\, to try to accuse the Obama campaign of "outrageously" accusing Romney of murder. This is my response for all of those out there that are asking themselves why the democrats are not retracting or not trying to even acknowledge the accusation..
"...because if that is what you think, sweet dear friend, that the dems are accusing Romney of murder, like the republicans keep saying, then you missed the whole point of the ad. Think of Gordon Gecko of the first Wall Street movie fame. Do you remember how this cold-hearted expensive-suit guy bought the airline where the main character's father (the Sheen, father/son actors Martin and Charlie) worked?Did you remember, how this corporate private equity guy, Gordon Gecko, played by Michael Douglas, was uncaring of what was going to happen to the employees at the airline if he loaded the company with loans against their pension fund and then dismantle the company for a profit gain? Well, that is exactly the point of the message here.... because.... that is exactly what Bain Capital does represent. Now, you all remember Bain, right? The company that Romney won't mention and keep going out of his way to disassociate with, like the dates he worked and not worked there? Trying to imply that the dems are trying to accuse Romney of murder is plainly shortsighted and the reason why companies like that keep thriving in the US. For the last 50 years corporate raiders, as they are aptly called, they have spawn a whole industry, kind of like what the wall street did also with derivatives a few years ago, to keep trying to destroy our very own financial fabric. It used to be when we used to create things, not destroy them for a profit. Too many of these "private equity" companies keep doing as Bain dismantling and sending our jobs overseas while we stay inert and do nothing. Why do you think Mr. Romney won't release his taxes nor talk about his role in Bain as an accomplishment? Find your facts and do not let the politicking of issues distract you from trying to learn and discover this guy, (Mr. Romney), real character. He never no one day have had a hard work labor day in his life. He was born into money that his own father created through hard work himself, and what this guy do.. He dishonor his father in more than one way by not only trying to destroy the very fabric of what his father worked so hard for, but also by not even honoring his own father plight for politicians to be honest and to disclosed they financials for public scrutiny if they want to run for the highest office of the land. Romney dad used to work and he made his fortune in the auto industry. Do you remember Mr. Romney famous line about Obama trying to save the auto industry? He essentially said, let them rot!!! These are this great man values in a nutshell. The monopoly generation of kids born with a silver spoon in their mouth that like to play with money they did not earn through hard work. They don't know about hard work and sacrificing because they haven't have one day of either. Do you think that this man values represent yours? He may represent all our dreams, to win big lotto prizes and hopes of receiving a big inheritance, but he does not represent our reality.
Just learned that the Mitt Romney one trick horse campaign, "give more to the rich and keep keeping the middle class at bay", has become a two tricks horse campaign. The announced today that Paul Ryan, one of the major extreme right winger obstructionist of what have become the most inert House of Representative in history, that he will be his VP choice. Now the horse has a second trick. not only give more to the top echelon but also strip to bare to the bone all of the social programs that been helping the middle class and the poor in this country to survive, i.e medicare, social security, welfare. Are we to become a country on where we will only care for the wealthy? Can wait for the revolution on the streets. If you think that the wall street movement was a fluke, wait till more pressure is put on people taking away the social net that at least have keep that part of the population a flow. The religious right once called Ryan's budget proposal immoral and irresponsible. That is the type of budget that Mr. Romney has chosen to embrace for his second major economic point.
Just to let you know... The FoxNews folks have started a campaign to demonize and label one by one all the the moderators that are scheduled to run the Presidential and VP debates. They are calling them their favorite label "the mainstream left media" and accusing them of not being real journalists. Unbelievable how panicked these people are. O'reilly and the fab fives (four) are claiming short of a conspiracy. You need to see also Greta Van Susteren's interview with one of Ryan's former school teachers from Wisconsin. He said that he would not vote for Ryan's because on his view on public education and the fact that in his budget Ryan reduced funds for special education from 15% to 6%. You all should have seen the rightist reaction on Greta's blog. They even called her a hacked journalist and were practically asking for her head.... Precious.
I wonder if all these law-makers that are confused on human reproduction are a result or the cause of their want to ban sex education in schools. Keeping people ignorant certainly will help their case when their facts are fictitious.
