Wow, did D. L. Hughley just hit it out of the park in a segment of Hardballwith Michael Smerconish guest hosting. I hope Rachel and the people on her staff get a chance to take a look at it, if they weren't watching at the time.
His perceptions of Romney are right on the mark.
with all that waffling, i did NOT hear gov strickland tell us what he & the prez/dems are gonna DO about biased voting days & hours! obama does nothing at his OWN RISK...
Just watching Rachel's Ted Strickland segment about the Republican shenanigans in Ohio.
Just wondering. What was the argument the five Republican-appointed U.S. Supreme Court justices used in Bush v. Gore? Wasn't it about consistency in application of voting laws? I know Bush v. Gore can't be cited in any other case per the five arch-conservative SCOTUS justices who wanted Bush to win Florida and become president, thus their trashing of the U.S. Constitution and violation of a state's U.S. Constitutional right to decide their own presidential electoral process. I just hope the DOJ's Civil Rights Division looks into what this criminally-insane Republican Secretary of State in Ohio is doing. Either voting is consistent for ALL Americans or Republicans have turned U.S. into a fascist society perverted by Fascist Republicans.
Why aren't political ad buys funded by commercial enterprises deemed commercial speech? Do the FEC adn FCC have the lattitude to interpret it this way.
What is the url to access the ftc info on campaign ad spending?
Hey, was just watching the show online. I'm not sure if this really matters but you mentioned there was an ad made recently depicting a steel worker whose wife died of cancer that did not get shown on any tv stations. I've actually seen this campaign ad running on my local cable providers channel. Ive probably seen it runs about 3 times within the past few days. I'm not sure if its the exact same one, but it has a steel worker speaking about being laid off and then his wife gets sick and she has stage 4 cancer. Btw, im from SC if you wanna check on this.
Jon Husted of OH, Mike Turzai of PA and Scott Brown of Emerald City must be sharing a metaphorical cigarette right about now. "Ahhh, disenfranchisement, was it good for you?"
My question for Republican voters in Ohio would be along these lines. Are you going to feign ignorance as you saunter into the polls or are you going to march in with chest puffed out at the notion of being a complicit, quisling constituent for a corrupt state political party?
How about this? Condense all the Democratic poll locations into one convenient spot with live TV cameras so residents can watch the hilarity ensue.
Well, maybe not. Baby goose steps first.
