I hope David Richardson of Florida can compete in the "Good ole boy" atmosphere of Florida Politics.
Unfortunately, republicans are firmly entrenched in state government here in Florida, so it's pretty much impossible for the Democrats to get anything done. It's frustrating to watch.
I live in Summit County Ohio... the board of elections web site says that early voting starts in Oct... but no times... or days... and we STILL can't look up our polling places... we lost almost half our districts thanks to redistricting... loosing faith that we will be allowed to vote ANYWHERE... we need help... we have some cool bars / pubs here... please come by for a visit!

John Mica's challenger was also an incumbent, Sandy Adams. She used to be my representative, unfortunately. But with redistricting, she and Mica were thrown into the same district and Mica has always been fairly popular around here.
Rachel, did you see the story about the hospital chain HCA becoming a windfall for venture capitalists in the NYTimes? They upped their profitability by aggressively billing medicare and by cutting staff back so much that doctors and nurses worried about patient care - and guess who was in on the deal? yes, that's right. Bain Capital. I thought it was a pretty important story.

It's called 2016, and I've seen it advertised in a GOTP attack ad. I think it's coming to local theaters (that's what the attack ad said). This is what Citizens United gave us; gobs of dark money from anonymous donors to make propaganda movies. In fact, the original Citizens United case came from an anti Hillary Clinton movie made with dark money.
Rachel, Lvkpride is right. You should cover it and how it was made/financed; everything we can find out, as well as everything they're keeping secret. We've got to be able to talk to people about it.

NPD, sociopathy, psychopathy, etc. are all related and narcissism is at the root of these profound psychological abnormalities. Your narcissism is obvious and may be a psychological counterbalancing mechanism for rather profound feelings of insecurity. I'd guess that you are truly narcissistic in a rather profound manner, but I'm not an expert. That's the deal. You're only fooling yourself and your continual efforts to take any critique of Maddow into the swamp of hostile emotional dysfunctionality is also a distinct and obvious sign of your psychological dysfunction. You can blather on and take your continuing hostile and demeaning swipes, but your condition is utterly obvious. Take that to the bank.
In my opinion .... you're a mess. Your posts, as stated, are clearly and obviously steeped in narcissism. There is no question. But, if you are truly ... profoundly narcissistic .... you won't really care at all about what I think whether or not my remarks are reasonable or not. . That's the way it works. I'll add ... Teenagers and children go through narcissistic stages which most significantly outgrow as they psychologically mature into adulthood. Some folks however get stuck in a stage of arrested adolescence, never truly mature, and may remain narcissistically inclined throughout their lives. It is also true that significant adulthood narcissism may truly be an overcompensation for inherent feelings of personal inadequacy or insecurity. Significant adulthood narcissism may be a show of smoke and mirrors to camouflage insecurity and may simply be overcompensatory and exagerrational bluster. It is also true I believe, according to the viable literature that true and significant adulthood narcissism is largely incurable. On the other hand, everyone is somewhat narcissistic. People look out for themselves and their interests, as they should.

She has stated clearly that the Ryan plan envisions the same ... cuts ... as Obamacare, but the truth is more difficult to explain and Maddow may be the last MSNBC host not to offer the correction to the GOP Big Lie. Why? Everyone else is stepping up to the plate to offer clear and concise corrections of the Big GOP Medicare Lie, and Maddow isn't. Why? Is it just because of her inherent "confounded contrariness" or doesn't she want her listeners to understand in her own words that the GOP is again lying in profound measure regarding Obamacare? It is fair again to ask ...What's up with Doctor Maddow? Why won't she correct the newest Big GOP Lie about Obamacare? I highly recomment Dave Davies (NPR) Fresh Air Program today, where Pa State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe had some pretty strange things to say about the Democrats and voter fraud. Also the interview with Nate Persily, a professor of law and political science at Colunbia Unv. was excellent in explaining the difference between voter registration fraud and voter fraud.
