I know it's CNN and all but tell me you saw Soledad O'Brien taking apart John Sununu and the follow up that skewers Romney and most of his surrogates. Finally someone in the mainstream called them on at least one lie.

Gentle reminder - many of us watch CNN in addition to MSNBC. We even keep an eye on Fox News, if only to be ready to respond to stuff people come up with.
Watching Morning Joe, why is it President Obama is being asked to tell a Super Pac what to say or do when Romney in a debate said that legally he could not tell a Super Pac what to say or do ???? Why the double standard???

2. I know what Romney said, but did you ever notice who always showed up at his fundraisers and BBQ's? The leaders of his PACS. What do you think they discussed over ribs?
Because Romney's super pacs are doing most of his dirty work, so he's very happy with what they are doing. And where is the proof that Obama or Romney are in or out of the loop? Do you really believe Romney??? Amazing.

Do they really want this debate, or are they just saying that to postpone shaking up their etch-a-sketch yet again? They'll either have to find a new diversionary tactic (Arpaio's birther investigation?) or accuse the CBO, Factcheck, and AARP of being liberal partisans. To me, Sununu looked like he knew he was being dishonest, but hoped that, if he shouted loud enough, people would believe him. Priebis's face is like a magnet for rotten tomatoes, eggs, and cabbage.
Maybe they're promoting this crap so their die-hard followers have something to say to themselves, and still go to the polls to vote while holding their noses.

I can't even bear to look at the story about Jan Brewer. Someday, about 15 or 20 years from now, the majority of the citizens of the United States are going to take a distinct turn to the left. Why? Because there's a certain narrow-minded segment of our society who will be dead. Unfortunately, they're my contemporaries, so it means that I won't be around to see it. Damned shame, but I hope the rest of you enjoy it.

The thing I find remarkable about the Arizona immigration BS is that if your family history goes back only one or two generations in the state, you've more than likely have a Hispanic (possibly un-documented) or two in your lineage. That bombastic, birther sherriff with the Hispanic surname probably wouldn't even be around if some of his ancestors had to go through the same BS as today. How many 'un-documented' aliens are in his background? Anyone check lately?

Pres Bush said during debates with Kerry we cannot enter the borders of a sovereign nation, meaning Pakistan. Pres. Obama promised to do just that during his debate. How many lives were lost due to Pres. Bush's inaction. God Bless the Seals but they are helpless without orders from their Commander in Chief. Pres. Obama increased the drone flights over Pakistan, far more than had previously been ordered. This all took courage that was lacking by the previous occupant of the Oval Office. God Bless Pres. Obama. I feel much safer since he took office.
Awhile ago everyone was worrying about the so called "Zombie apocalypse". Forget that, my biggest fear is the "Romney apocalypse" if progressive thinkers don't get to the polls in high enough numbers this November!!! If that happens all I can say is "Canada, here I come!"

While it is laudable that Maddow has been going to great lengths to separate herself from the Democratic party of late, and while she has stated clearly that she is not a Democrat, thereby finally shattering her facade of being a Dem., she is still a member of the corporate political media who are now viewed favorably by only 10% of Americans, and who can't admit that they are corporately manipulated and have forsaken their sacred trust to inform the country. The reason Americans don't generally know/understand what is going on politically is that the political media is largely a failure, and Americans therefore now have the "peculiar affliction" of not trusting the political media. Doctor Maddow continues to alienate herself from Democrats as political media in general now dis-enjoys the same dismal favorability ratings as Congress. Americans' overwhelmingly negative awareness and assessment of corporate political media types like Doctor Maddow .... is not peculiar. Doctor Maddow on the other hand.....

After your rapid fire, multiple replies over the last 2 days, it seemed best to give you some distance yesterday (at least) so that you could calm down from your seemingly overexcited state. Maybe you can go back and reread your posts and try to recall what kind of emotional state you were in, for reflection.
There are many questions that need to be asked, and issues to be explored, because of all that you've revealed. You've made signification progress with expressing the motivating details behind your emotions, but we can see how quickly you fall back on familiar expressions of safety.
To address the theories you have in your posts, we need to continue delving into your personality. We have to discuss the trust issues, identity through mimicry, and difficulty in answering some direct questions.
So, let's step back a bit. Think of it as an interview, where you get to talk about yourself, and not about Rachel. You mentioned you were once a Rachel fan, but suffered traumatic betrayal in 2010. Can you recall when you first felt or realized it? Was it the criticism of the Obama tax compromise? Or was it something else?

I live in a retirement community where most everyone is on Medicare. They are also die hard Republicans. They dont like Ryans plan for Medicare and Social Security and they think that Romney is dishonest and sneaky. However, they are still going to be true to their party. I argue that if anyone is born in this country and lived here all of their life and consider themselves to be an American they should not get just 2 years. This is wrong. Voting laws are changed at this late date giving no one time enough to change their voting ID's When in the past they receive their registrations in the mail.How can the Rep. party get by with this. I get so angry and feel so helpless but I do have my one vote.
