Fox Nation is angry -- I know, I know, redundant -- at the Associated Press for, in the network's view, repeatedly portraying President Obama as either an all-powerful wizard (see Buzzfeed) or a halo-headed angel-in-chief. The actual Fox Nation headline? "AP Does It Again..."
1). Fox Nation vents its outrage over these photos by ... showing these photos again, four of them! Don't the good people of Fox Nation realize the political damage this could cause? Undecided swing state voters will take one look and think to themselves, (forehead slap), "Of course -- President Obama is a wizard!!! That changes my entire world view! You have not only my vote, President Obama Halo Wizard, but my lifelong fealty, too, sir! Please, take my guns and implement whatever healthcare system you deem fitting!"
2). If Fox Nation is so confident that the Romney/Ryan ticket is an unstoppable juggernaut, why, exactly, start attacking A.P.? If this isn't the bottom of the barrel, you can definitely see it from here.

What would happen? I'm guessing here but if enough people stopped watching...slowly, some ratings would start to fall, then some shows might get cancelled, some overpaid talking heads might get canned, some cable or satellite carriers might lose money, and some TV products might not get consumed. Then more and more, some corporate profit margins might fall, some rich people might not be so rich, some politicians might not get a "bonus" for voting the right way, and some legislation might fail that would benefit the 1%.
The more people don't watch, the more snowballs such effects. But we will never know because the public has grown used to nursing at the teet of TV and can no longer give it up, this instrument of control over them.
I don't own a TV anymore so have a cable link for internet, and that is it. I now have free time to cook again, to take walks again, to think again...
But.....but....nobody will stop watching because there are people who actually BELIEVE THE STUFF on Faux News.
That's the shame of it all - they'll go the whole election cycle not knowing the truth.
