I think the Rachel Maddow Show is like a breath of fresh air, Rachel knows exactly how to bring the right questions and facts to the story. There has only been one other person that I have this much respect for and that would be Dee Dee Myers. Rachel doesn't waste your time trying to insult a persons intelligent's . Great job .

My ulcer medication is not working, these guy are making me sicker. I was confused that Romney said he had a plan to step up production in the USA by drilling the (Hell - my word )out of every site possible. He also stated we would import more oil from other countries.IMPORT was that correct? Why drill here if we plan on this. In the article I read this morning he seemed to not be in favor of Green Methods of Energy saving programs. Does he have financial interest in this oil drilling plan? Where did we find these two baboons and please send them back. Another point; Why are all these Politicians refusing to answer Reporters Questions? That is telling the American Public that I do not give a dam what you want or what answers you need because the platform WE take will be OUR OWN and you voters do not count. Actually we don't need your votes either because we will block you from the Polls and our Wealthy friends will buy us the election. How is that for a Free America ?!!

We, the voters, are locked in a battle between the ultra-rich and the super ultra-rich. Some of the rich, out of fairness to their fellow man, are on our side. By poor, I definitely mean the middle class, you know, the ones who barely make it to feed our kids and pay the rent. Remember the American dream? And god help you if you pity the poor, children, veterans, (I don't know any rich soldiers), and other unfortunates. And now after the other party has declared war on women, Gee, is there really a human female function that will stop unwanted pregnancy? In my 75 years here on earth, I've never heard that one in even the most ignorant areas of America. Where are these super intellects crawling out from? ANYBODY know? Golly Gee, Suppose one of our poor GI's, that's what I was, shows up on the doorsteps of that super estate with it's car elevator, with his weapon in his hands and a violent case of PTSD, OH MY, well, just call a poor man to defend you. GIVE ME A BREAK.

The Bain Files: Inside Mitt Romney’s Tax-Dodging Cayman Schemes

Gawker has obtained a massive cache of confidential financial documents that shed a great deal of light on those finances, and on the tax-dodging tricks available to the hyper-rich that he has used to keep his effective tax rate at roughly 13% over the last decade.

Today, we are publishing more than 950 pages of internal audits, financial statements, and private investor letters for 21 cryptically named entities in which Romney had invested—at minimum—more than $10 million as of 2011 (that number is based on the low end of ranges he has disclosed—the true number is almost certainly significantly higher). Almost all of them are affiliated with Bain Capital, the secretive private equity firm Romney co-founded in 1984 and ran until his departure in 1999 (or 2002, depending on whom you ask). Many of them are offshore funds based in the Cayman Islands. Together, they reveal the mind-numbing, maze-like, and deeply opaque complexity with which Romney has handled his wealth, the exotic tax-avoidance schemes available only to the preposterously wealthy that benefit him, the unlikely (for a right-wing religious Mormon) places that his money has ended up, and the deeply hypocritical distance between his own criticisms of Obama's fiscal approach and his money managers' embrace of those same policies. They also show that some of the investments that Romney has always described as part of his retirement package at Bain weren't made until years after he left the company.

A $516 million Cayman Islands fund investing in Burger King, AMC Entertainment, Bombardier Recreational Products, and other companies. Romney owned more than $1 million in it, as well as an affiliated coinvestment fund, as of 2011, and reported owning 4.059% of the fund's general partner in 2002.

A $3.7 billion Cayman Islands Fund investing in the parent company of Dunkin' Donuts, Burlington Coat Factory, Canadian dollar-store chain Dollarama, and other companies.
