Makes me crazy, Will, how the FB Recommend (which includes Share, as per the new FB widget) always appears in a layer BEHIND photos and videos on the top of the page, rendering the dialogue box useless (except to hit return, and that only works sometimes).
And no, don't ask me to sign up for that "passive" sharing crap the MSNBC sites now has with FB, cuz there is no way in hell I will ever sign up for any of those. They are purely evil, those things.
At least the Twitter dialogue box has the good sense to open in a new window, so the Flash or Ajax thing that is making it do this doesn't impact Twitter.
I am using Chrome browser. You might tell your QA people to look into it.
All I really wanted to do was recommend those sweet vagina necklace things in the first picture on Facebook. Is that so wrong? ;-)

I heard one commentator say that they had to move the stage forward right before the event started.
I assumed it was because they needed the area to look smaller thus making the crowd look bigger.
In addition, it looked like there were literally thousands of balloons and tons of confetti, as if to cover the crowd that was not as large as anticipated.
@ksker....Do you really think this is like the Democratic party where they make up lies to promote their agenda? WE THE PEOPLE know the truth and you all have been lying for too long. The GOP doesn't need to "fake it", there were plenty of supporters there and you will soon see the SILENT MAJORITY come out in full force come November. Very good post. I'm sure YOU THE PEOPLE will show us just how to really get in there and do lots of governin'. Of course the silent majority is mostly silent because they died of old age by now. What I saw in Wisconsin and was confirmed by what people were saying, is that they were not voting for Walker or against Unions, but rather they felt this did not rise to the level of a recall election.
So you support the Republican Party's wanting control of all three branches of our Government and would not allow any one with an opposing point of view to have a say in our Policies and Laws of our land. You do know that the form of government you are applauding is a REGIME, not a Democracy? So you support a government regime like they govern by regime in Cuba, Vietnam, N.Korea and China?
There are more people in the Democratic party. The only way the Republican party can win is to keep people from voting or by putting bad voting machines in Democratic districts. Many people in the Republican party will not be voting for Mitt. Lot of lies coming from the Republican party, they no longer know what the truth is. If you tell a lie over and over again, the people think it is the truth. Oh yeah, Rush will tell you what the truth is.......
Keep thinking that Jeff!! We are going in the wrong direction, weather you want to admitt it or not. Our current leaders do not lead, they blame other for their failures; they do not solve problems, they blame others for resolving them; they do not bring the country together, they purposely divide us. You can believe all the polls you want, but I can tell you that the families to busy to answer the poll calls will be voting in Novmeber... and we'll be voting for a new leader.
The reason Mitt's Mom want to be at the table was it was the only job, then or now, where new hires got the same pay, male or female.
Why Clint Eastwood? Clint is a big role model for gun nuts and racists. All His biggest movies are about solving problems with violence. This appearance by Eastwood is what is known as a dog whistle. Go over to Youtube and search "Clint Eastwood racist" to learn how conservative Americans feel about vicariously pulling the trigger with Clint. Just short of a lynch mob mentality, the Republican audience snorted with glee at the hint that Obama should be "blown away" by a vigilante Clint, the spiritual father of all the George Zimmermans in America.
Oh those darn christians,,, of course we all know all the catholics are going to burn in hell for an eternity,, but hey,, the catholics know all we protestants are going to burn in hell for an eternity. And surely surely when we (the moral majority) pray/hope/wish that "only" thru jebus will anyone get to heaven, we are also praying/wishing/hopeing that 10 billion other souls will burn in hell forever..
I'll bet that if you talked privately to every single person in that hall including Clint, they would agree that the world would be a better place if 4 out of 5 people were to die. That is a hugely pervasive parameter in many many peoples' thinking. So why outlaw abortion? So government policy making will be tied up, and thereby preventing measures on taxes, safety, fraud, civil rights,, so the rich can keep getting richer..
If your religion/philosophy advocates that 4 out 5 people will burn in hell for an eternity, your religion is invalid. Start over, try thinking of the world's future of possible utopias and plausible disasters. What would be best policies for the next generations to deal with both goals, and preferably without the killing of 4 out of 5 of us.
